all the issues are for MNG to resolve, branding is important, should be pushing MNG to relinquish the Pru brand in the UK and Europe.

BBD, some of the poor value for money was unfortunate timing as 31march was the reporting date...many competitors assessed at 31 December. My guess is that the performance will be much rosier given the market recovery seen last year. It has been a gift to headline writers.
As for the CEO remuneration such sums are large but not unusual.

The 45% gain was just from the date of my comment which was after the worst of the sell off.
At the time, I thought there might be further weakness in the market rather than the near full recovery we have seen. QLT is not much different to others in terms of where they are today compared to pre covid peak.

My point is that again we are at a point where the market can go higher but is at risk of corrections. QLT will be supported by the buy back for the next 18m maybe more....so a safer place than many others.

What you need is a quiet board with a few contributors who can knowledgeably chat about the company.
What you don’t want is a lot of opinionated people chatting about other matters.....I like this board just so.

Could be down to two recent deals with Amgen for a portfolio of drugs into Africa and Beigene into Europe. These are press releases, but don’t seem to have made it to RNS. Each of these managed access programmes extend the reach of clinigen as a distributor. Putting extra volume through the machine should create better margins.

Last year the CEO of the company I work for bought and the stock has doubled. Directors are quite good at recognising under valuations.

for those that want to, I suggest buying in before 5May there may be another pick up in the run up to the AGM and the likely trading update.

I have never believed in Chartism. Always seems to be hokum to me all this talk about heads, shoulders,....moving averages are good for telling you what has happened and the trend. To repurpose a phrase about economists - charters have predicted 9 of the last 3 crashes and probably 5 of the last two bull markets.

I prefer analysis based on cash flows.....yes they are still modelled forecasts, but you can see how developments change the results.
The recent market size data in the latest corporate presentation clears up one variable. Still have to guesstimate the market share and pricing....but that is better than relying on historic market movements to predict the future.

I expect the shares to strengthen once the fund raise is finalised and Jackson demerged. The terms in HK should be quite good with value stocks coming back into favour, a small discount to the sp will be needed, but not much.
I have reduced my holdings to fund new isa subscription and to diversify a little, but I will buy back if there is a 5% dip on announcement of the placing terms.

I also think Jackson will benefit from a rotation into value stocks and in due course a bid from Apollo/athene once they have refocused on the external market after their merger.

DT Questor repeats Buy....a better risk reward position than their buy of two years ago.

If they want to hold an EGM on the same date as the AGM or include the Jackson demerger resolutions at the AGM, then time is running out...three week notice means an announcement next week.
Hopefully it won’t be too long.
Have managed to get all my holdings up together ready for demerger. I doubt I will be selling Jackson immediately as I don’t think any bulk sale offer will realise good value.
The US holders who sold MNG got around 200p...market could see them coming a mile off....and the US will see us UK holders coming too...also if value stocks are in for a re-rating there could be better value 12m down line from Jackson.
