Trump then mentioned he couldn't rule out an Iran deal over the weekend, again more incoherent babble which you can only assume was said for the benefit of financial markets. Now this morning we have headlines Iran and the US have exchanged fire, ME neighbours again targeted

Trump despite telling everyone ‘not to worry ‘ and ‘he can wait as long as it takes’ has made a panicked phone call to Netanyahu to stop bombing Lebanon, an attempt to appease the Iranians after they called off talks earlier.

Obviously anyone with an ounce of IQ knows full well Israel will absolutely not stop destroying Lebanon, and even if they did Iran will not open up the Strait. For the umpteenth time Iran know they can crank the pressure up to absolute breaking point if they just hold steady, every day the situation becomes more critical for the world economy. They can see huge concessions coming their way, will Trump cave in? Not sure on that but Iran are going to test the theory

Trump will scramble to bring the OP down every time it goes up like with today’s ’phone call’ but one thing is for sure, a huge energy crunch is coming and won’t be avoided. Yep it’s difficult to see how any deal can be agreed given everything that has been said and done over the last 3 months

If you are Iran you know you have Trump in a corner, surely you keep your main card in play and keep the Strait shut until at least July when the pressure will really crank up. Maybe this is their game, they keep the US dangling feeding them ifs and buts, knowing the days are ticking by. See where we are Monday, continued stalemate is my guess.

The strait won’t be fully open until July even if an ‘agreement’ is signed, then you have to hope neither side will break that agreement. Hard liners now running Iran, Israel pressuring Trump and the hawks in Washington it looks fanciful expecting anything to hold
