A senior Iranian parliament member has dismissed US media reports of a deal to end the war with Iran being close as an American "wish-list" rather than a reality.

The only way this stand off ends is if the USA makes several concessions to the Iranians, they will have to lift the stranglehold of harsh sanctions and release billions in withheld funds. My guess is the Nuclear question will be kicked down the road for 'later' negotiations, which will probably result back where we started with the Obama deal. Trump will obviously claim this a victory, in reality it's a total mess created by his own incompetence

In short the Iranians will come out far stronger and emboldened than they were in February

The Strait will take weeks to clear, then the damage will need to be assessed ref ME production. Oil will remain in short supply for the foreseeable
