Get rid of the Hummingbird name and replace I with a more exciting and appropriate name. I suggest the company should be called " Dream Maker ".

No I think it means that this is just the beginning of a much larger buy back programme over time/years and this first phase is being handled by ML . This then does not mean that Enquest will use ML in future programs. I expect to see a much larger buy back program for 2025. Maybe using ML, maybe not. Options open for Enquest.

Anyway I have had a look at numbers based on last results/figures , expenditure , cash flow etc.

I think HUM are OK for cash in the coming months. They need to get production sorted though. However I do not forecast any panic measures or dilution short term. Just my views, do your own research .

We should know more this week in their update.

Question Bushy Baby - Have you "run the numbers" ? How long do you think the company can run on the current production/costs before needing further cash ? Please confirm your decent research results here - thank you .

Secondly - Do you see a fund raise coming with the company issuing more shares (dilution) ??? If so, when and at what price. Normally these are issued at a discount to the current share price. Do you think new shares could be issued for 5p ?

Now that Iran has proved it can and will hit Israel will a warhead. Even though only a few got through, it must be truly worrying for the Israel government. Which is why I expect Israel to strike inside Iran and hit their Uranium enrichment plants. Israel has to ensure its survival and one way to do this, is by destroying Iran's nuclear capability.

Iran no doubt will attack Israel again. Sadly, I think a war is beginning.

Will Russia be helping Iran, like the US does Israel ? I can't see Putin not sticking his nose in, maybe by the back door.

Buy Backs started to put a floor under our share price and stop this fall !

The clue about people is often in their chosen avatar.

I tend to trust posters judgement who use their own name or choose a bland avatar, like the month of the year etc.

Posters who use weird avatars normally can be assessed on these choices.

Example;

The Shareminator = likes to present himself as the big macho trader with big bucks. A know it all. But in reality invests a few hundred here and there and is underwater on his investments. A dreamer !

BushyTailed = another dreamer , the clue is in the name here, oh he who loves animals too.

Hummingbird share price closed late on Friday night at $0.0719 which converts to 5.77p. UK equivalent.

Does that mean we have a large share price fall on the open here on Monday ?

Still believe that they should have protected the downside and not had a ceiling on the upside. I think you agree with me, which explains your snappy frustrated sounding reply. How much are you down ?

These "Collars" cost money. HUM will have had to pay per oz for the privilege of putting the collar on.

From memory this costs around 4%, so approximately $100 per oz..

They should have hedged the downside and left the upside open . Costs a little more but you really benefit if the commodity spikes.

I think cash will be under pressure, if not exhausted. The longer the wait the more the damage is being done. I expect to see 5p again soon !
