It then struck me. If the likes of Biden and those green leaders of Europe really want to see Electric cars everywhere and green renewable energy then they need to get the costs down ! Or do they do both ?
Develop and invest ( pump lots of government money in ) electric cars and renewables even more PLUS - Make Oil so bloody expensive that electric cars become competitive and affordable against petrol cars.
So stop drilling and exploring , tax oil company's or remove any subsidies. Create a supply shortage . Oil goes up to $100+ then all this electric and green stuff starts to make financial sense ! $200 oil and maybe we all buy electric cars ! Could it be part of the plan ? Hope so

I understand the fact that you are frustrated on the performance of HBR, which explains why you take it out on Sauerkraut.
SauerKraut has been here a long time, you obviously have not, otherwise you would understand his sense of humour. Sauerkraut is not an idiot, indeed his knowledge of the oil sector would surprise you. Just because you don't understand someone does not make them stupid or an idiot.

You talk about high volume, however you say in the same sentence that this was "false volume" due to creditor overhang. So true volume is not the numbers you quote, you quote creditor overhang ! You can't have it both ways !
Maybe you should look at the volume today !
In addition I feel the share consolidation could also be "weighing this down". Markets often see this as a precursor to a fund raise or refinance at a later date .
This needs few months to sort out this consolidation and get some clear strategy from the board.

Volume is your problem.
You talk of your piers being BP and Shell. Which is rubbish !
You have just 3m shares traded today. No one is interested, hence the very low volume on the stock market.
Your volume is the same as little old Enquest at 3m shares traded. Even Tullow has 9m shares traded, 3x your volume.
So you sit with ENQ on volume. Below TLW. BP would blow your mind on their volume.
So lack of trading volume is a key problem here !

The problem with that article is that the assumption is " new supply can be "switched on " in a matter of weeks. This is just not true. A lot of supply is lost for good and he ignores this ! Keeping it close to home, take Enquest a just a small example. We have shut down our high cost end of life production for good. It won't come back. Most companies have done the same. I would guess across the world this lost production alone would account for a fair few million bpd. I would suggest at least half of the 6-7 m bpd he believes could come back in weeks. Sadly he missed a rather large piece of the jigsaw.

No, not until the GE deal and refinance has completed ! Then I see the doubling to 30p+
Until then ,IMHO, we are stuck until deal completion. Indeed if the circa 250m new shares are offered at a discount to current SP, then we could go down to that price before we double -up ! From history, Isn't that how things go on the stock market with OO's and RO's.
The half year results showing all that FCF, should give us another boost too ! POO plays it's part as well !

I am expecting us to do better than TLW. Their funds cost them dearly !
They agreed 10.25% senior secured notes due 2026 at par. Not the same situation as us, but expensive money.
Enquest will certainly be below 10%, in my opinion. LIBOR +7%.

Yes, we must be close to news.
Ops, that was close, excuse me while I dodge the swinging handbags.
I would prefer the share price to be in the 20's just to weaken the dilution a bit. I think we need to keep the total number of shares after the deal to as close to the current number as we can. Certainly do not want to see total number of shares go above 2b. I hope AB negotiates hard to ensure we get a better interest rate than our piers !

Been thinking. We know that they are working to set time lines on this deal. We know that they are planning for the deal to be completed by end qtr3. Therefore i suspect that to achieve that time line then it seems reasonable that the propectus is planned to be announced by end of qtr2 (end June). This gives them qtr3 to get it all done and resolutions passed by shareholders etc so i think we will get notification of the details/prospectus by end June. In the next 4/5 weeks. Seems logical ?

Yes I guessed that was the situation.
Now we have hit $70 for POO, with all the World's worries, then I guess $80 POO is looking favourite now for summer. Maybe a lot more !
Followed by completion of our deal. I can see a doubling of our sp from here .
