The current price difference between WTI and Brent is exactly $3 (I just checked).
It was not that long ago that I remember it being nearly $10. We have not discussed this for a while, so does anyone have any thoughts of what the future holds for this "spread" ? Will Brent command an even higher premium than $3 going forward ?
Brent would be $74 Now if we had a $10 premium as before !
Any thoughts ?
I guess with US production being down on 2019/2020 levels the difference is likely to remain around $3, but maybe not !

Chilting's been here a long time. At least he posts what he believes, which is being honest. He sees the Worlds future energy supply will come from increasingly other sources, than Oil. This is likely to be true. We just disagree on the rate of change ! His honesty is there to see, he even posts when he sold.
Unlike some who post here who ramp or de-ramp depending on their trading accounts situation. This is disgusting posting 13p one day then 25p the next !

How will this effect Enquest ?
Unions are saying if they don't get a deal then ALL loadings will be stopped !

Bentley is a red herring !
Break even costs are to high. There are much better places to spend Enquest's cash that have a lower break even price. Like GE for example. More of these Magnus and GE deals will be seen. Bentley was just a give away price.
A good "punt" buy at 2m though.

Yesterday POO was $64.97 at the close. Currently POO is 50c higher and with the Good News regarding Bentley, I expected a little "pop" to the upside. Plus of course Jefferies very recent rerate of 28p share price.
Are the "Algos" sleeping I wonder ?

With all that is happening here, GE deal Bentley etc. I have come up with a new slogan.
"Build it and they will come". What do you think lads ?

Enquest could be a very big company in a few years if they keep going at this rate.

That's positive ! They have been rising for weeks with the higher POO and now they have stopped rising. Maybe not the money or stomach in the US for rig expansion anymore ! Looks good for much higher POO later this year !

It all helps with reduced supply !

In the past years when "Jefferies" gave us downgrades it onlt took a month or two (max) to get to their target price ! Maybe the same is true on their upgrades ! It seems the "algos" spot the broker re-rates then move the SP to match . The coming days will be interesting, as this re-rate from Jefferies is the change we needed now to stop the "rot".
Chesee was right earlier when he called his bottom. I still think WTI could re-test $60 , which equates to circa $63.60 for brent !
Lets see, time will tell !
