Waiting is boring and frustrating. The "algos" will lock us into the OO price as soon as they see it ! maybe I'll switch off until September !

NO rerate when the deal is announced because the SP will stick at the OO price until completed. Then the re-rate happens !

I am fed up with the SP banging around this 17p/18p mark. I can't see $70+ oil doing much more than early 20's.

My strategy is to wait and read the " offer details" when they are officially announced.
We don't need the silly 50m , it's just the banks wanting to make a few quid for themselves.

I was about to reply to your question . However, slift has answered it perfectly.
A good question however I suspect he does not have the true costs to Enquest worked out yet, so was never in a position to answer it factually. Although he did say that we have obvious advantages that no one else has !

Some comments were made about AB yesterday.
Remember he is from Palestine and he is likely to have friends and maybe family there !
With the "troubles" in Gaza at present and conflict with Israel, he may not feel like "jumping up and down" with excitement !
We should "cut him some slack" at this difficult time for people with close links to that part of the world. Hopefully peace will prevail !

OO comes before Ahh

It's the ahh that we are waiting for !
And I keep posting that at the End of Sept we will see a very different market sentiment for our equity !
1) The GE deal and re-financing should have completed. The re-finacing is key to market sentiment.
2) Our production will increase by 10k bpd.
3) IF POO goes over $70, or even $80 in the summer our revenue and fcf will be huge on circa 60k bpd.
4) Our half year results will be out showing a much more exciting balance sheet with a higher NAV.

Until then we will float around 17p, 18p or possibly 20p if POO makes an early move North !
Lets stop moaning and see it all through !

Look, the market will never let the SP run up with a OO looming. It never does. You will need to wait until its all done. Then see it fly

Yes your right. We have all done the calculations and ENQ is seriously cheap !
WHY ?
Now most of us here have been trying to work that one out for a few years ! Why is it so much cheaper than it's peers !
I think by the end of this year the market will value ENQ in-line with it's peers. Need the GE/finance sorted and we need to see the fcf in the half year results in Sept. "Divi" given in 2022 - Then we will be taken seriously !

IMHO - The big re-rate won't happen until the refinance has totally completed with the GE deal. My guess during the summer. Our Half year results early Sept. So my thoughts are by end of September we will see that the market has digested all our numbers and POO will be $80.

We need help ! The wife and I are trying to decide where to go on holiday !
Now "Spindok" kindly offered us the option of going Cruising . He has his own Yacht, you know. Sadly my wife said no to this when she found out the cruise would be "off the Essex coast" and there are "no toilets" on board. She gave me an angry look when I explained that "Spin" had said you just sit on the side of the boat and hang your bottom over the edge and "go" while the boat is moving !

Well we don't like crowded places and I read in the press that everyone in the UK seems to be going to Portugal. So that's out ! Australia and New Zealand "Won't let UK citizens In anyway". So that's out ! Can't work out why Boris bothered to put htem on the list then ? That's 3 off with 9 left then !

I think you are getting a little confused. It was not a meteor that they were woried about, but a Chinese "Rogue Rocket".

Some very Green Nations tried to "Carbon Capture" it with very wide nets, alas the Rocket eluded them !
The chinese were contacted for comment and they said "The rocket is full of carbon and we are happy it is landing offshore close to one of our competitors. It is our new strategy to "Carbon Saturate" our competitors !"

We have to disagree then !
It is the market NOT having 100% assurance that the deal will complete. Don't forget it's NOT just aquiring GE it's also the refinance package that goes with it ! This is just as equally importent. I re-state when the deal and refinance has completed (not just announced) , actually gone through - Then and only then we will see our run up to 40p. Obviously with the "tide effect" of POO.
