You are right, things take time, but I feel we need to get a little closer before we start talking dates etc. Last time I started talking , I jinxed it ! I would say lead times from start to event, around 3 months . Will begin talking at 30p, which still is a long way off the 60p we need.

All been on "ice" for a few years !
But they are ready to go into action when we start our approach to 60p. I did speak with AB's secretary and IR a few years ago about it, and got a favourable response then. Will start the wheels turning when we get above 50p.
I would like to think that along with drinks, meal we could get a presentation from Enquest. I guess London is favourite for location as it would suit anyone flying-in. During my career I had a number of years organising Sales Conferences , so organising this will not be a problem. We just want the 60p SP.

For the first time ever, ENQ share price closed above that of Harbour Energy ( the old PMO ).
They are having a really hard time. I wish them and all oil investors "Well" for the future.

You try to change the subject- we were talking about a rerate from today. When people do that it is because they are coming from a position of weakness.
Secondly, I do not recall you making any 20p prediction in the past .However it sounds good in a post doesn't it ! Sort of gives your post some credibility ! Shame you can't keep to the point in question ! Is a rerate going to begin from today AA, what's your view ?

If you are so experienced, which I very much doubt. Then you would have seen cases where the SP reacts days after an RNS.
And yes some cases you have a gradual rise for weeks. There are many types or rerate. I guess you only know the "rocket". Most novices only do !
Indeed Enquest have done this before , rising from 22p to 53p over 5 weeks from Dec to Feb .

50m raise. Simply, if we are having a prospectus then we are having a OO raise. Otherwise why have a prospectus ? We would just buy, like we did Bentley.
However this is No problem as we don't need the 50m cash, so should just add 3p to share price when it happens to compensate.

You are right we are slowly rising. This is what we want, as it is the sign of a permanent re-rate.
We don't want any of KO's rocket up followed by fall down.
True re-rates take a number of days and possibly weeks to work through !
This is the start of something very good, I believe.

I am very pleased that we are burning through all this extra oil for the G7 meeting. Indeed I was expecting our new aircraft carrier HMS Queen Elizabeth II to be there doing a few circuits. Showing the other G7 nations that we "have a big un" and you better take us seriously.
I wonder does Sweden have an aircraft carrier ? No , I guess that they are not that "well endowed"! I do remember their old Saab Vixen aircraft. That was a good aircraft. I guess they just use Cessna's now !
Sounds to me that you are not holding any oil stocks at present or you too would be pleased with all the extra barrels being used.
P.S. - We love "Biden". He has helped to get POO to $72 and no sign of a "Tweet" from him. Can't ask for more than that.

The re-rate will NOT happen until we complete the refinancing and the GE deal - Then we will see 30p, 40p or more !
Come on lads, you all know how it works ! why get so stressed over these daily moves, it aint worth it. By end of October I expect to have a big smile on my face, and it is NOT because the wife has put her bikini on. No, that's just a chore !

My point , which seems to have set off a big discussion about electric cars, was actually very simple. If the West wants to move on climate change etc etc green, etc etc - all they need to do is encourage the price of Oil to rise too such a high level that it makes electric cars more attractive and forces the energy sector to accelerate it's development of alternative sources !
of course WE would be a huge beneficiary in the short term !
If Petrol/diesel doubled or trebled in price in the coming year or two then many many more people (not all) would switch to electric cars. This would force the development of infastructure too support more electric cars. Energy company's would spend even more on R&D to develop "new" clean energy. I think this is what we are going to see ! But along with this we will see $100+ POO and the West will let (no encourage) this too happen ! For th first time in a long while, I can see the real possibility of our 60p party and more !
This time next year Rodney we will all be millionaires ! Now who said that ?

Not a peep from Biden with higher oil prices. Politically it works for the West and Saudi Arabia OPEC.
Reduce carbon emmisions get everyone over to electric. Let POO run up so high that we all convert. Imagine in the UK if petrol went up from £1.30 per litre to £10.00 per litre. It would cost £500 - £600 to fill up a tank of petrol. We would all go electric tomorrow. In the meantime Saudi Arabia could earn a 'ton of money" for a while as this transition happens. Enough to cover their "Vision 2030" to ween them off the reliance of oil. I can see something like this happening ! Can you ?
