Quite a surprise to see the Doc Martins Plc share price so low! I've always viewed this company as a profitable company with a strong brand, albiet narrowly focused on a niche (and loyal) market. I do know my kids and most of their university friends like (love) and wear 'their' Doc Martins.

After a quick glance at Doc Martins results in the RNS on 30 May: I note that US sales is down 25%. However, as the Federal Reserve has just dropped interest rates by .50% it is only a matter of time before more consumer spend works its way into the US economy - especially in leisure clothing and footwear as the ramp up to Black Friday and Christmas is just around the corner. Therefore, I would expect US sales (and sales elsewhere) to increase substantially for Christmas.

Net debt is up a bit, but that can be quite easily rectified with an increase in sales revenues, as sales margins are healthy and stable.

Doc Martins has a current capitalisation of only £485 million - that seems very cheap.

The Doc Martin share price has had a high of circa £2.50 to today's low of circa .50p over the last 24 months. The potential upside is compelling.

This may be 'left field' at this early stage, but Doc Martins looks attractive as a takeover target.

Based on the above, I will carry out in-depth reasearch into look into Doc Martins over the next week. On the face of it, an investment into Doc Martins looks like a very safe bet at the current share price. Possibly/probably will add to my investment portfolio in very near future.

I have carried out thorough research on Zephyr over the last couple of weeks and it appears that all the moving parts are currently paused and set to come together almost all at once. Given analysts views, I am not alone in my view that Zephry's share price is undervalued, and is indeed a bargain at the current .0328p per share.

It seems Zephyr is simply awaiting a partner, funder and/or investor to back Zephyr's next stage. Once this RNS is announced Zephyr's future will be assured. Although the share price will no doubt surge after the RNS; for me, Zephyr will remain a mid-long term hold for the next 5-7 years in order to realise the vast potential.

I have said the share price will double within 12-18 months for reasons already stated.

The Capita share price is on the rise due to the anticipation of positive news delivered on the Capita webinar on Monday 23 September.

SavageKeyboard aka SavageGarden or SavagePuss or SavagePussinboots (take your pick) is so far off the mark with Capita that he is no longer credible (even before then he was borderline).

NoFear was fun, but now takes himself very seriously as an expert commentator on the activities of the shorts and the movements and close of day predictions on the share price of Capita. That said, I do admire the time and effort Nofear puts into his posts on the aforementioned. However, I hope Nofear remembers the golden rule about investing. Anyway, I hope Nofear adds to his investment into Capita...preferably as a drip-feed into Capita, so he can provide us with an up to date commentary of the same i.e. "Will I won't I? NoFear, knows no fear" etc. Heck, I may even be tempted to add more to my Capita investment just to join the Nofear party!

NoFear I know you love to watch the shorts and their trades etc. For me, it's a case of shorts by name, shorts by stature. Shorts are the fleas, who ride on the backs of the fleas on cardigans.

@JG68 As predicted by JO Federal Reserve drops rates by .50%. I didn't forcast the BOE, as it was always unlikley they would drop rates - no brainer really. I doubt BOE will drop rates now until January-February 2025 and even then it is probably only a .25% drop. So far the JG vs JO prediction as a result of the Federal Reserve drop in rates has JO's prediction (i.e. markets rise) in the lead for now...

Anyway, what does it mean for Capita share price? My prediction as per my previous post for the next few days is up Thursday (correct up 1.17% COB LSE 19 September), flat or slightly down Friday late afternoon (daytrader profit takers), up Monday.

SavageKeyboard is not invested in Capita and has no intention to do so. He is a disrupter and makes pathetic efforts to negatively affect the Capita share price via the Capita discussion board.

Sk is like the nosey neighbour next door. Rather than stay on his side of the fence (with BT in his back garden), SK cannot help himself - he has to constantly wander over to the fence to take a look at his neighbour's garden (Capita) and make stupid and ill-informed comments about it.

Keep pluckin' away at your measly investment in BT. I too an am investor in BT. In fact, I hold a serious invesment in BT - it's hardly an exciting share, but it pays a decent dividend. Unlike you, I don't spout off about the BT share price on the Capita board, or elsewhere for that matter. Therefore, SavagePuss, my advice to you is: Get a life!

@SeekInValue. Just had a quick look and can see you have only ever commented on Zephyr. Your posts are simply your own opinions (which are not backed by any evidence whatsoever) and appear to be out of step with Zephyr's RNS.

I have two 2 simple questions for you:

Are you an investor, a tyre kicker, or a student?

Do you have any investments in any companies listed on the LSE?

It's just that your posts and sole focus on Zephyr is all very...unusual (to say the least).

@Trisor. If Capita are to announce another RNS, it will most likely be towards the end of September.

@JG68 The market is demanding a .25 to .50% rate cut. The is good for corporates, businesses and consumers with any levels of debt. An interest rate reduction will free up cash flow in the US. When that happens markets move up. I know of several investors who have waited on the sidelines until interest rates fall and they re-enter the sharemarket. At the moment they prefer to hold funds in fixed interest deposits. It won't be dull mid-late this week. Of course it's all subject to other external events - the world is pretty volatile at the moment! Anyway, I'll take another look between late this week and Monday. Time will tell if JG or JO is right...
