SavageGarden, given your own admissions summarised above (let's put to one side your very poor gramnar about 'booked profits'), together with your clearly out-of-date views on Capita and inability to understand financials and disposals...

I have to let you know there is a difference between experience and wisdom. You may have a little of the first, but you have none of the second. You are no Warren Buffett. You also have no (zip, none, not one, not a part of one, not a bit, not any, not at all, in no way, not in the slightest bit, to no extent, none whatsoever...) 'qualifications in stock or accounting'.

Savage Keyboard (I would say that anyone with a name like that must be a cutsie wutsie little widdle puddy cat), it is you who needs to examine Capita's financials. You have failed to identify key areas which clearly show turnaround potential, which has now been cemented in place by the completion of the sale of Capita One. You will have to wait for the next set of financials to see clear evidence of the same. I can assure you that the Capita ship has turned. As a result of the disposal of Capita One, Capita now has a strong balance sheet. Therefore, the pressure on Capita's cash reserves and debt fears have not only subsided, they have been repelled.

SavageKeyboard, what makes YOU the expert? Please state your qualifications and experience for us all here to read. I assume at a minimum, you are or have been an accountant (please be specific), and that you hold or have held senior management positions with board experience...most probably within the finance industry in order to make the type of 'sweeping' statements you have made with regards to your 'knowledge and understanding' of Capita's financials and recent disposals of assets.

SavageKeboard, I await your reply with an outline of your CV. I am sure it will add to your 'credibility'.

Just let that sit for a while.

This is quite the find. As investors, we should all consider ourselves fortunate to be on this ride. I don't mind if the day-traders and short-term share holders sell out of the share price hike today. They will soon be replaced by experienced investors and institutions who understand what Zephyr has uncovered here. CH and his team have done really well. It's now time for CH and team to pause, and look at all the options available.

I'm very happy to sit on this investment and trust CH and team take it from here.

I would say an RNS is more likley to occur late next week (possibly Thursday), and if not then the week after. The reason is that many senior management of potential finance/investment companies have this week just returned to work after 1-2 months summer holidays in the US. These same senior management will need to review and approve documents/negotiations, final contracts etc. before sign-off.

I anticipate the next RNS will likely include the double whammy of: positive test results; and the required finance, investment, partnership and/or joint venture. If I am correct, this will be a game-changer for CH and Zephyr, and its shareholders.

@JG68 'Very disappointing end to the day'.

It is important to note that the LSE was down overall today. I think that now makes 4 straight days the LSe has continued with a downward trend (mainly on the back of negative US market news). However, Capita fared well and closed up 2.53% on the day (LSE COB 5 September). This probably equated to a 5.5% rise on a 'normal' (i.e. steady) day. Personally, I don't mind a sell-off towards the end of the day, as it usually means day-traders have pocketed their few hundred pounds and run off, and left Capita to the real investors.

This is just my personal an observation from earlier today: I do wonder about the timing of the RNS update. Clearly completion of the sale of Capita One was made AM today (probably just before 11am today) and so the RNS update was released at 11am today. However, if completion was made after 1.30pm today, then the RNS update would have had to be released at 7.00am tomorrow. This would have seen a greater spike upwards, and would have recieved more in the way of coverage in the media and investor platforms. That said, it is a rather mute point overall. I don't invite critisism over this as it was simply an observation, which was no doubt noted by other investors also.

Given the sale of Capita One is now complete and the cash is in the bank - the Capita balance sheet will look far stronger than it has for some time. I have no doubt whatsoever that several institutional investors will now start to look seriously at Capita as a genuine turnaround, and further investment will follow over the next few weeks.

Good RNS update - short and sharp. Not too 'flouncy' with flowers and rainbows everywhere. This now cements the start of the Capita turnaround. Capita's share price will spike today, with a steady rise into next week and beyond. I have no intention to sell. Next major stop - I predict a favourable set of results in December.

I do feel sorry for SavageKeyboard who has clearly missed the Capita boat. SK is still at the dock, dressed in his PJs.

@SavageKeyboard. I was curious so I looked your name up under the dictionary meaning of 'Savage'...it means: 1. (of an animal or force of nature) fierce, violent, and uncontrolled. 2. (of something bad or negative) very great; severe.

So that explains your personality traits. Not sure how 'savage' you are with your keyboard...but I have a feeling that most people type as 'tap, tap, tapity tap...'. Whereas you type as 'slam, biff, boff, punch, bosh, pow, bang!' Kind of like the fight scenes from the Batman TV series from the 1960s. Do you wear a similar costume as the Boy Wonder when you put your mask on and 'wack' away oh so 'swavagely' on your keyboard..?

I've completed my research into Capita and spoken to several experienced and successful investors who are very knowledgeable in this space. I am sure Capita will turnaround, and is indeed already on its way. In terms of the Capita share price, I expect to spike upwards in the very near future (after the RNS update) and continue to steadily rise through to the results in December and beyond. It would not surpirse me at all if the Capita share price is double current levels within 12 months (24 months at the latest). No doubt some will sell after the next RNS update, but that would be very short-sighted. I plan to hold for the medium to long term.

If you don't believe in the potential for Capita to turnaround, then each to their own. Just don't blubber and bawl your eyes out to anyone here when the Capita boat has clearly sailed, while you left stranded on the dock with your overnight bag in hand and your cash still firmly tucked away deep in your pocket. My suggestion to you is to take another look at Capita (you need to look in the right areas) and speak to those in the know.

I do have a question for you. If Capita is so bad, and you have no intention to invest...then why the interest here? Why not use your time to look for other investment opportunities on the LSE that meet your investment criteria and risk (i.e. investments that are ultra conservative and safe)?

I do miss your posts on 'will I won't I' buy Capita shares. It bought a smile and chuckle - and it was real. At least Kipper has started to mimick you with his announcement of how much the Capita share price has to drop before he makes his undisclosed purchase. You could lend Kipper your sheep crook to hit that Capita 'buy' button!

@Shorty. BTW I call it as I see it. NoFear should have fessed up that he became too excited. In his haste to release the outdated news...from 2011..to others here in order to win brownie points and be liked - he actually made it all worse with the updated/fake news, followed by more fake news (it was a joke)...followed by finally the truth. All rather pointless - Fearful should have read the article properly, there were examples throughout which made it clearly old (very old!) news.

Next Fearful may post an article to say JL has been appronted as new CEO of Capita.

I saw this article and read it late last night. It took all of 20 seconds to realise the article was a re-run from 2011.

NoFear posts the same article and gives himself a huge pat on the back for posting it. Then NoFear finds out it's not true (from other posters here) so says he posted it as a joke. Then NoFear gets called out for a posting a stupid joke, so he fesses up and said he did/didn't read the article...but decided to post it before close anyway.

@okeydockilly As I mentioned before, I base my investment decisions based on management guidence, financials etc. When Capita's management predict completion of sale 'towards the end of August', then I tend to accept that. I would have thought that Capita's management would have been briefed as to the realistic timing of completion of timing and added a buffer to that. Hence management's expectation for completion towards the end of August. In hindsight, perhaps management should have stated their expectation for completion is by the end of September, or made no announcement about expected completion date at all.

@Trisor. Despite your fantasy/skeptism about my investment intentions, I happen to be a medium-long term shareholder in Capita, and I have stated that several times. I have merely stated that the lack of an RNS update will have an adverse affect on the share price. Surely all investors in Capita would want the share price to steadily and consistantly rise over time? I am no different which is why I suggest that a short and sharp RNS update would restore the status quo i.e. circa 19-20p and steadily rising until the sale. That said, I bought recently, so the current dip does not concern me, and as I said previously, if it drops further, I'll simply buy more as my usual investment is minimum £250-300k. On your other point, if the sale does not proceed, Capita will bank the £20M, however, I doubt very much that Capita would sue, as that type of attitude would sned the wrong signal and as a consequence discourage any future buyers from making offers to buy assets from Capita.

It's funny how the CFC say AH is wonderful etc. and a wonderful communicator with shareholders. Up until now, that has been pretty much the case. In my opinion, AH has dropped the ball on this occasion. I am simply stating the bleeding obvious. Whether you agree or not, that is your choice. It doesn't mean I am right, and it doesn't mean you are right. We all have different opinions, hence the reason we throw our 'pennies for our thoughts' into this Capita discussion board.

@NoFear Due to the announcement of the sale of Capita OneGiven on 9 July, the Capita share price rise from 12-14p to 18p-22p. The current sell off (since Friday) is simply due to buyers who are disappointed that the sale of Capita One was not completed towards or by the end of August, as per management's own expectations. The only way to restore confidence in the transaction and to stop the slide is with an RNS update with a revised estimated completion date for the end of September.

If only management had said completion of Capita One is 'expected by the end of September' (a much more realistic timeframe than 'towards the end of August;'); then the share price would have risen throughout the August-September period until completion in September.

Looks like Kipper9 (aka smellyfish) is upset that's he's missed out on the converstation. Everytime he posts, he says he's filtered JO. He keeps repeating himself over and over...I think he may have dementia. He'll never know though as he 'never' unfilters as he keep telling us.
