@Pokerchips. I don;t care if you remain on this discussion board or not. I just wish you would stop spamming it with your anti-Trump tripe. As for me, I'm quite happy with my investment in Prudential. A nice profit thus far. I called the low in terms of the Prudential sg=hrea price and I was right, and I purchased at that low. I plan to hold for the medium-long term. I know from experience that when China moves and the Tiger economies move, so will Prudential. Meanwhile, I look forward to Prudentials' results next week. No need top worry about me and my investments old chum. I'm just not sure where to put my latest tranch of profits earned from YouGov recently (I called it and purchased at the low there too). Hmmm, I think I'll add to my Prudential shareholding...

@Pokerchips @Stockready. Your contant chatter about Trump sends me and others to sleep...faster than Sleepy Joe. You have taken over this Prudential discussion board to spout your political views and preferences, which are clearly anti-Trump and to be frank your arguments are weak and absolute rubbish. I am surprised to see you are in profit with Zephyr - as you seem to be a moaner (about the Zephyr management, the share price, posts made by others etc.) who is desperate for the Zephyr share price to rise so you can sell out...a tell tale sign of a impatient, distressed and/or incompetent investor. If you don't like your investment in Zephyr, then sell up, take your profit and invest elsewhere. Simple. After that, take a look at the Zephyr share price in 6 months and see if you made the right decision. If yes, happy days...if not, oh well never mind.

Not that you would have any idea about my strategy and methodology on any of my investments...

FYI my investments are not charts led by any means. I look at 5 year charts as only one of many factors prior to investment. I find that 5 year charts provide a decent average and even-out any unusual occurances in a company's trading history. Whereas, a 2 year chart can hide certain factors or key events, which can make the company look better or worse than may be the case. For example, a company may sell a business asset in order to add much-needed cash to the books for further investment in its core business or in technology and AI; and sale may in turn create a temporary spike upwards in the share price, which turns out to be short-lived. As mentioned, a 5 year chart is only one very (very) small part of my investment criteria.

FYI I currently hold £100K of Zephyr shares. I have no plans whatsoever to sell. I and am very happy with CH and team as mentioned in my posts on Zephyr.

@Aimless. I agree - it's bound to happen. I hoped Capita would only drop to 19p, but I think I was too optimistic. The sell-off will be nervous nellies who quite rightly are worried about the Labour budget and the implications on capital gains taxes and a host of other areas.

I would say most potential investors will wait until they see the next set of Capita results i.e. proof is always in the pudding. Capita has had too many ups and downs and some investors still view it as a medium level risk. Hopefully all the skeletons are now out of the Capita closet...and Capita can move forward and the share price upwards. Of course there will be a few bumps along the way. If the next set of Capita results are favourable, then investment here will follow in droves.

@Sentana1 I only look at 5 year charts. 1-2 years is far too short. So over the 5 year chart Zephyr has a low of .013p 5 years ago on 1 November 2019, and today it sits at .0314p 29 October 2024. Between times, it hit a high of circa .075p. So right now, the share price is about average at .0314p over the 5 year period. The most recent low was .022p on 1 March 2024, climbed to .0550p and today the share price is .0314p, which is about average.

The Zephyr share price is far more important for day-traders, short-term investors, and moaners who bought at the highs probably hoping/wishing for a quick return and more than likley have tried to average down (I would say you are in the latter catagory). I am none of these. I plan to hold Zephyr for quite a while - at least 5 years, so the ups and downs and whims of the marketplace do not interest me. The fact is the real production is yet to commence and the obvious potential here will not be realised for some time yet.

I mentioned the Labour budget will keep this share along with many other stocks down as many investors will wait on the sidelines until the unkown budget is indeed known. I too am such an investor. At the end of the day, Zephyr is an AIM stock, which is speclulative by nature and therefore high risk. If the Labour budget is not favourable to AIM stocks or there is an increase in capital gains taxes, then Zephyr (along with many other AIM and main market stocks) will drop further tomorrow. It's commonsense. No amount of RNS updates/results wll change that. In summary, Sentana1 - if you can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen...and leave this Zephry investment to the big boys.

As expected revenues strong and profits in line with management expectations. New business additions will benefit YouGov in near future. YouGov up 13% today as of this post. Possibly more to come over the next few days.

I do feel a quite sorry for Abdn who sold out prior to the results. Oh dear...I wonder who was responsible for that decision? Whoever it was it probably a bit red faced in the office today!

I have a different opinion to that of dsrt2012 and Setanta1...

CH has led Zephyr very well. Zephyr will not be an 'overnight success', it will take time to ensure all the foundations are built. I am happy to hold for the medium term, os the ups and downs of the share price is irrelevant. I know the RNS of finance in place and drilling commencement will take place as every statement CH has made on his RNS' - both in terms of plans and timeliness - have come to pass. As my investment friend from Australia (coincidently a senior executive in the mining industry) would say..."She'll be right". I have no doubt whatsoever that when Zephyr has all its ducks in a row, that this share price will rocket and reward patient shareholders handsomely.

The Zephyr share price is down due to macro factors. Especially thanks to Labour's scaremongering budget. It is probable that Labour will impose further tax increases on shareholders. I know many investors who have chosen to reduce their shareholdings until the budget is known. Labour may also impose some type of tax on shareholders in the AIM market. Commonsense says sit tight until the unknown is known.

@m007j I would say overall probably 90-95% of this discission board is on Capita. Occasionally the theme of discussion drifts into other areas - political, non-political, golf, drinks etc. This Capita discussion board is open to all, so either participate in the subject at hand or don't, and if you don't like the topic at hand, well that's just too bad. You sound like Scarlett O'Hara with her tearful question "Where should I go?". To which I will reply in the same words of Rhett Butler..."Frankly my dear, I don't give a damn".

@SK. What makes you think I am a Tory voter? The mistake Rishi made was to call the election early before the Rwanda scheme could be implemented by law. Now we have no deterent whatsoever.

@TerryM1 You fogot to mention Starmer scrapping the Rwanda deal AFTER it had been approved to go ahead (too many Starmer failures on the list already eh?!). Starmer should have said, we'll trial Rwanda for 6 months then review it. Take a look at the migrants (i.e. or should I say illegal ECONOMIC MIGRANTS) charts - it virtually stopped dead in its tracks when Rwanda deal was almost formalised. Mark my words, without a deterent, millions will be let in. Watch society change for the worse. We had a hotel in our area that was closed and re-furbished for migrants. The hotel was opposite a primary school, and next to a high school. It turned out that within a few months, teachers and parents noticed that the economic migrants (all young men) were hanging around the schools and trying to groom the kids. Very quickly and quietly, the miigrants were moved on...no doubt to another hotel that is not too close to schools. The hotel is still closed for now. What a sad state of affairs and Labour has no plans to change the status quo. It is impossible to 'smash the gangs' from the UK. It is in Europe's interests to usher these young men through to the boats and send them on a one-way ticket to the UK. This is not a simple matter of migration. The young men who keep arriving is the equivilent of an army. Just wait, within 10 years the UK will be transformed - more thefts, more knife crime, more grooming, more rapes than ever before. The fact is Rwanda is a deterent, and it is certainly better than no deterent at all. Oh well, never mind Mr Starmer, let's instead cut the winter fuel allowance for our elderly (to pay for migrant hotels, clothes, mobiles, pizzas, education, and unemployment benefits). Our elderly are the same people who have paid into the system and contributed to our society for generations. But what does that matter to Starmer the 'Human Rights' lawyer. You can bet he won't live anywhere near where these migrants are settling...

@Glowacki. I consider myself a serious investor (circa £100 to £300K per stock) and I invest in AIM stocks - some of my biggest wins have been within AIM. I expect YouGov to be up there over time. However, if YouGov were to move to the main market it would be beneficial to YouGov (and current investors) in many ways.

As I predicted: the YouGov share price low has passed (mid-last week) and the share price up was up Friday and today.

With the appointment of new brokers and advisors at YouGov 'something' is afoot...
