They need to set it up well before the payment date as the price is set around the ex date. I topped up on rsa today..don't like them much but they are cheap!

Mine does all my sipp as scrip/drip in nominee but you can't specify which ones,all or nothing. I guess it depends on the broker. Only thing is if you buy and sell a lot you can end up with funny little holdings here and there due to the time lag...annoying little reminders if they went up after you flogged them! I guess that's why you sometimes see trades of 1 or just a few shares?

Reinvests or oilies?

If you're on scrip/drip reinvests the price is set in the 5 days before/after the ex div date or are you directly reinvesting? Yes the goldies not looking great but will hopefully come back at some point,they normally do!
