Job swap eh, bring it on mate!! Not sure where the others have gone this week. Didn't do much on shares today, shuffled a few specs around and now can't remember which ones lol...I'll notice if there are any 1000%ers tomorrow mind you!!
Well not exactly bud, 9-6.30/7 is the norm but the iPhone emails and calls often persist much later out of office hours...woe is my burden of responsibility!!! Different shifts must be a pain but I guess you just learn to adapt all the time,no shares though, not good!! I do take sneaky peaks during 'opening hours' but equally when I'm on appointments etc can miss a lot in an hour or so!! Graphs, yes they give you a feel for something but all part of the big mix of thoughts before taking the plunge!!! Anyway catch up soon bud, night. Night to the absent ones too!!
Maybe bud, only thing I ever predict on shares is unpredictability!!! Night shifts again, hope you managed to get some kip in the day and didn't watch the shares too much(as if we would!!)
Yes that one bud, never realised the lyrics of two tribes were so pertinent when I was 20!! Ladbrokes, bought a few and then a few more(as one does) when they dropped another 5p! Missed the dip on APF today pre-ex moor row but already have a few, mustn't be greedy!! How's things?
Yes I've added a few after the first buy with agonising regularity over the years too mate! Langyy, cheers for the link, was busy catching up with the Cold War on 2 earlier, very interesting for our generation to reflect on!
If you meant the Finnish one a couple of hundred quid just in case, little to lose heavy upside if they don't go bang, wish I'd applied the same view with woollies!!!
Can't remember what I got for my Morgans but I made a profit. Annoyed I sold kier at 14 though! Holding here and clln, more in the latter but both as base income mainly.
That's the whittled down amount! No I don't really watch things like united utilities, grid,Glaxo, these etc in the main unless they go up a lot or down into my perceived adding territory but like Lego I'm keeping an eye on cash flow/divs quite a lot for myself and a couple of others who manage shares with an income slant. The sipp has a few more sleeper types in there as well as sensible ones on div reinvest.
RSA a good yielder at now prices mate. Some issues on compliance or whatever in their Irish oppo. A few weeks ago they were t/o rumoured now well down. Recently paid so no imminent need to get in. Have a foothold at these levels and if I see them drop below a quid as they did a year or two back I'm going in heavy. The chief exec not very popular either. Through the dark days they maintained a massive yield and then went for a cut when things started improving do I don't like them much unlike resolution that seems to understand holders want a rising div not a cut(despite buybacks!).
The lad one, directors in,small lift recently on t/o rumours, all quiet now, decent yield but already paid, not far off year low,buy around 170 should be okay but unlikely to go up 1000% I'm confident of that anyway!!
Might be worth a look then bud. Tanzanite slid right down after it changed to Richland resources, the only place in the world they mine tanzanite which women buy as jewellery for some reason and its quite pricey too. Had lots of issues including theft and lost touch as dumped when I got bored looking at the paper loss!
