Everyone loses in a trade war but is there some kind of strategy at work here or is he just a disrupter for the sake of it?

I think the soyabean farmer summed it up quite well when asked that question saying he hopes he knows what he’s doing. As a rule loudmouths are to be avoided in polite company and trump has always been one but whether his strategy on trade etc is brilliant or foolhardy remains to be seen!!

They look like a good buy as the shops tend to be in places with little competition and charge more. Don’t trust the yield so wouldn’t buy for that,heavy debt which is on the wrong side of the leverage/grow current sentiment. Retail is seemingly finished but you can’t find a parking space in any of the retail park and the high st is full of people! I bought some Dixon’s and kingfisher last week too but decided against any other retail for now mainly cos I don’t want another Debenhams-esque loss on the p/f! Mccoll’s look oversold and have done since they went below a quid!

Good,as ever a few versions of it knocking around...from the era when music was music! Politics and business never a healthy mix, if governments were listed companies we’d rip them apart!!

It’s quite shocking how quickly you can spend money on a pile of shares! Lucky with the timing but will no doubt be taking a longer term view on yield if there’s no bounce!! What happened to the Santa rally?!!
