Normally anything yielding over 5%ish is unsustainable but at the moment there’s a cracking choice of chunky ones like Aviva, standard life Aberdeen, saga, marstons, the tobaccos bats and imb,REITs like land Securities,British land, hammerson etc, green king,Royal Mail to name a few! I’ve only got the big miners under the BRCI wrapper but a couple like centamin and caml seem to be up there. Quite a few bombed out sectors particularly retail and utilities offering huge yields but big ? on sustainability or worries on brexit, labour gov risks. My recent very blue and mixed bag of investments a lot around 6-7% yields.
