Exactly mate,by the time one of my trees becomes logs it’s done some good work and the ash gets used too. Nuclear wouldn’t exist without massive subsidies and is great unless it goes wrong in which case the clean debate falls down a bit...Chernobyl etc! If they put the same dosh into the Severn barrage that they’ve thrown at Hinckley Point down our way....

Most people I know see them as eco-friendly as you’ve burning a sustainable product to produce heat and energy. I grow trees and burn logs which is now perceived in some quarters as anti-environment but at the same time I consider investment and subsidies in nuclear power an abomination.

For some reason Sandra Bullock just popped into my head,wasn’t there a film called syconicity or something similar with her in it?

Hopefully the moneyflow will find a solution to that one and the perceived problem nearer to home sooner rather than later and egos won’t get in the way!
