Sounds familiar! On a positive aside from the yield there’s net cash and a chunky discount to nav and the IC has moved them from buy to hold which can conversely be a trigger!!! On their figures this week the nav is 151cents and net cash $145million which along with the yield confirmed looks good to me!

Yes the clue is the 6-7% yield on phnx.
I’ve got quite a big holding in Soco and added when they announced the next divvy, they seem to be one of those companies that like paying out divs,good track record.
Share price practically halved this year so maybe on the comeback now(hopefully!).

Morning bud, yes I’ve got a load of Phoenix along with Aviva,Hastings,chesnara,sla,saga mostly in the insurance department. Sold my lgen recently as on a high but kept Phoenix as they seem to have a good head of steam at the moment. I think they bought some assets from Aberdeen that is paying dividends(literally).
Hope you lot okay,ended the week better than it started for me and even the laggards vod,Soco,William hill and Royal Mail changed direction!

Haven’t followed them for yonks but still holding chariot,borders and all sorts of stuff at a fraction of the buy in cost....I guess there’s a degree of luck with the ones you tuck away and try and forget about....as in don’t get diluted to near extinction! My brother in law says he only buys once and waits. If I took out the averaging down option of never have anything in profit!

Had a quick scan and can confirm I hold nothing on the 52 week high list,yet the lows seem to have a good scattering lol. The ‘active’ one quite useful reference too,cheers again.

Mind you if the sale proceeds go into something that actually goes up rather than becomes yet another averaging down ‘opportunity’ it’s not quite so annoying!

I’ve tried all ways to deal with this issue like pretending to myself if I buy a few in the isa or somewhere out of the way I won’t end up selling them,core holdings,imaginary holding pens....doesn’t work! Saw a small profit after a lengthy paper loss and a slashed divvy....knew exactly where they all were and gone!!
Off the watchlists but then they they are on the leaders board aaaarghhhhh!

Keeps us on our toes mate. Just annoying when you average down and they keep dropping! William hill dropped nearly 30p this week.....and I sold my McColls and watched them go up every day since!

Mind you if they always went up it would be quite boring....actually, I could cope with that kind of boredom!!!

Started the week well with Keller and watched William Hill,Royal Mail,tcap,saga and those redde ones collapse this afternoon....very unsporting to issue a contract loss rns on a Friday afternoon,had the same recently with cmcx....at least at 7am I’m still half asleep and not so bothered!

Evening all,also ended up in negative territory Wassatt. Very frustrating as was well up Wednesday!

The irony is I don’t even like coffee,tea only for me lol! Have a good day chaps.
