I’d better get you helping me on the land chopping wood etc mate,exercise will get you fitter!!
Aside from my specs I’m assuming I’m well covered on commodities with the blackrock ones,glencore and city natural resources etc. Annoyed I took a profit on the concrete company somero as they’ve kept going up....why do shares do that aaaarghhhh!
Construction I’m hopeful costain will clamber out of their multi year lows and reckon they should start building houses again as everyone seems to want more rather than the so called smart motorways with no hard shoulders....doesn’t seem that smart to me!
Imperial brands pay their fat divvi this week and I’m hopeful 2020 will be a better year SP-wise as I’ve got shed loads of them.

It’ll be interesting to see where commodities head then mate. Never heard of the wood one,just had a look and reckon they’d be better off buying my willows and maybe the wood bags from the one in Kenny’s video than going all the way to Africa! Drives me potty mate,unless you’ve got loads of family it’s a big reminder to those of us that don’t have a big family or much of one,mind you the family rows are good ones to miss it has to be said! Watched eastenders for the first time in years the other day(Christmas Day I think) and they’re all killing each other!

I think that channel was a wise choice mate! I think I’ve spent most of the period cutting a d chopping wood and moving it around! If we weren’t risk takers or perennial optimists I don’t think we’d have the stomach to own any shares!

Evening all,glad that’s fine and dusted too and a few more days disruption from routines then I won’t be waking up early for no reason again! Hope everyone had a good time. Did a bit of IC reading over the ‘break’ but no major plans beyond maximising the divs and reacting where it seems appropriate at the time on the specs(as in averaging down lol).

Planted a few more willows yesterday,so waterlogged they went in a treat!

The Board approved a further interim dividend of 72.00 pence per share and will propose a final dividend of 72.01 pence per share, bringing the total dividend for the year to 206.57 pence per share. The third interim dividend will be paid on 31 December 2019 with an ex-dividend date of 22 November 2019. Subject to AGM approval, the proposed final dividend will be paid on 31 March 2020, with an ex-dividend date of 21 February 2020.

The whole lot of them were characterised in Orwell’s Animal Farm if you ask me mate,good riddance to them as it’s the aspirational wealth creators and their businesses that create jobs and pay for all the public services they’re always banging on about and I reckon there were quite a few talking about clearing off overseas....the ones who remembered the 70’s, mind you the music from that era was the best. I think all our shares are cyclical,just take their time doing the rounds!!

Yes I noticed the metal miners not too clever,I’ve got a few of your wres things in my big bag of little hopefuls/specs but only really look at them if any go up a lot....which isn’t too often lol.
Not surprised,the media is still going on about and disecting the results. I think it’s more to do with their bad behaviour thwarting all the votes in the commons rather than working it out together and the constant patronising of leave voters who got their own back!!

Fantastic gains on utilities and banks,not so good on big oils and costain but overall can’t complain too much. Seems bizare now that there was even talk of nationalism,what century did they think we’re in! Posted on here? AA gone missing,hope he’s okay?

Evening all. Interesting day on the mains,all over the place on a few buy mostly up! Hope everyone doing okay?

And loads of pheasants which have escaped from the nearby estate taking up residence in the areas Rosie can’t get to!

Morning mate,not sure about the fitness side as walking up slopes not as easy these days! We’ve built some 3 storey pallet cubes with a sort of roof and noticed the smaller birds around as it’s cover and shelter of a kind,a few munties but very elusive and the rabbits and a hare last week. A couple of foxes but don’t tell the neighbours or they’ll be hanging around the hedge with their 12 bores!!
One thing I was pleased about was a ‘kennel’ we made from 3 pallets with some old corrugated over it is now ‘occupied’ with digouts/entrances leading under it.
Trees looking a bit bare now but always say hi to Wassatt in his area up there. Thanks for the links.

Evening all,hope everyone doing okay? Been busy on my usual activities planting trees,creating wildlife habitats etc rather than talking about someone else doing it and like you Troj,trying to avoid politics cos it’s sooooooo boring!! Mains mixed and aims up/down/sideways but without the divs!
