Cobus Loots, CEO of Pan African Resources, on delivering sector-leading returns for shareholders. Watch the video here.
Evening all. Good to see a bounce today after months of big drops, mate of mine calls it snakes and ladders….more snakes since Putin plunged us into the 1930’s mentality once again!
AA,don’t know that one mate, all about yield these days but have my share of legacy aims languishing in the mire….why is it they always have a good story BUT?!!
Wildlife going well, rabbits, mice, deer, moorhens plus a few healthy looking foxes with cubs feeling a bit guilty(not) over some neighbours hens!
Dry but doesn’t stop the ragwort nuisance popping up or the grass growing….wild berries in amongst cultivated fruit just starting to take shape.
Hope you’re all doing okay?
Crikey Troj, I’ll be keeping the rifle to hand if that one swoops in!
We get a few red kites here and they ne if the neighbours lost their hens to something the other day but I suspect the usual fox and inadequate protection combo there.
Well done on the two good ones, a few winners keep us firmly on the hook!
Hi Nom, just looked it up,you’re right a fawn. They just have one at a time rather than litters and like rabbits are ready for action almost immediately after giving birth but with a lengthy pregnancy.
Put a question mark about the muntie toddler bit as not sure what their young are called?
Hope you’re all doing okay. All I can say it’s been an interesting year to date, made money last year, lost money this year but I’m up overall on divs so that’s something lol.
Bizarely I was looking at the main holdings on one of the many investment trusts that proliferate my p/f and these are in it!
Rabbits, birds, ducks and the resident munties all breeding well here….saw one of the muntjac with a small toddler (cub) yesterday avoiding an area I was mowing.
Don’t post much these days here or elsewhere, I guess I’m resigned to a very longhaul here, I guess one of those maybe maybes that for whatever reasons we're just stuck with.
Let’s hope it comes good one day! GLA
Thanks for the link, quite reassuring is my overview.
Never a great comfort with a seemingly perpetual paper ‘loss’ but the income focus and delivering very without undue anxiety works for me….onwards and upwards.
That’s a big old building mate!
Watching the news these days makes me want to build a bunker rather than sheds and barns, very uncertain world out there, even the jerries rearming again I hear!
Don’t know about the frenchies except most of them seem to hate our guts!
I think it would need to be one of their grandchildren mate!
We’ve put a few wildlife cameras up so looking forward to seeing what occurs when we’re not around….probably a party lol!
Getting older does seem to accentuate the aches and pains for sure bud. Keep smiling sometimes helps….much like we try to when the shares go the wrong way!
Sorry to hear that bud, you seeing a chiropractor or anything?
We’ve got some wild ducks on the pond and a couple of red kites terrorising the young rabbits!
Saw the munties today standing on a mound tucking into some fresh shoots but got plenty to go around.
Lots of small birds in some of the boxes we made too.
Happy Easter all you lot, it’s certainly been an interesting couple of months with Europe rapidly heading backwards in terms of civilisation!
Hope everyone navigating their way through it all okay on the shares.
Spring here, blossom, birds and the grass and weeds stating to grow to remind us all who’s boss!!
The Board recommends a final dividend per share of 5.5 pence, bringing the total full year dividend to 9.5 pence per share, in line with our dividend policy of 2 times cover on adjusted post-tax earnings (2020: 6.0 pence per share (rebased to take into account the bonus element of the rights issue completed in February 2021)).
Probably mate. As someone commented the expensive tv adverts seem at odds with the sold boards out in the real world….let alone the instructions levels to start it off.
Referral fees or tout fees as we called them always seemed at odds with the brief to ‘act in the best interests of the clients’ and f/s commissions clearly created a grey area from day one.
As any potential seller should take into account, service and incentive go hand in hand with value for money and if anyone is bonkers enough to trust their main asset to no fees or upfront fees then more fool them!
Or maybe not!
The continued reduction of City seems to be taken up readily with so few shares in issue to start with.
Sensitivities aside this is about the only way to invest in a future post-conflict/sanctions environment, short termers need not apply lol. GLA

I think he’ll get popped by one of his own, made too many enemies and cost too many of his own too much money and hassle.
Plus I bet he daren’t come on here to try and justify his actions lol.
On that note,night all.
I think it’s time to send in 007…..
Hmmmm, the last one had his head chopped off didn’t he!
I would imagine he’s extremely paranoid about personal security and doesn’t sleep soundly…..shame!
Yes mate, and we’re caught in the crossfire losing our shirts on our shares! I still can’t get my head around the fact this horrific war was started deliberately.
Chinese like order and money, playing a patient game. Putin clutching at straws because the Ukrs are fighting back and it’s starting to feel more like a civil war than a clash of ideology.
