They probably don’t have much stock available and like us have no idea exactly what is coming newswise so no MM has any reason to break ranks and push the bid too far north as the other MMs will screw them over. All will wait for the news and make on the volume whichever direction the news leads the SP.

If you read the RNS UBS do say there is no 3rd party involved so the buy transaction is their own trade.
Question is , does that disclosure about no third party only relate to the buy trade and not the CFD.
I assume any CFD UBS trade in would be as principle , so if a client wants to go long in a CFD then UBS would issue the contract ie they would sell it to the client. In effect UBS are short CFD and client is long Discuss

Only thing that I am not sure if is when UBS state in the notice that there are no other related parties. This may be because UBS are only reporting on the hedge side where they either buy or sell actual shares.
Where they mention CFD s then that part is the contract they have issued to their client. Logic being they do not need to report CFD s or actual share trades by their clients through the RNS process, and they are only issuing the RNS as UBS are buying/ selling the actual shares on their books to hedge.

Agreed, Client goes long on the CFD which has a multiple of 10 and a wider spread Hedge has to be the same way with actual shares x 10 at same time with tighter spread.

How do you know it is a short closing ?
Genuine question as if it was a start taken out yesterday it would be either be a short or the closing of a buy CFD

Rather, potential buyers will surely want access to the data first then go through it with a fine tooth Combe then make a make a decision

I have no idea of what to predict as the contradiction in my view is exactly what is the value of the assets in the ground we are selling ?
This seems to be anywhere in the region of 10 to 100 $billion.
Now if it is the higher number it has to be a confirmed resource. Has it been confirmed? Cos if it was then the SP would be a lot higher right now even if EUA was not up for sale. That is the contradiction I wrestle with.

In that scenario both the cash and shares offered will be fixed so the total value of offer is known.
EUA shares will still be traded up to the point the offer is accepted and beyond that to point of distribution. During that period EUA share price would fluctuate pro rata to that of the buyers share price and obviously taking into account the cash value of the offer.

If some assets are sold in part then assuming they are sold over whatever timeline surely each must be reported at the point they are individually agreed.
Any buyer of the first and subsequent sales would want to and be required to formally announce their buy to their own shareholders, would they not ?

It’s simple they have no reason and will find it harder to generate volume in the mid 20s so have gone the other way. They also do not have a clue what EUA will monies at so want a good run up when it does

In fact if the next RNS from GGP is only to repeat what NC tell us and nothing else, then IMO and in the absence of any MRE they are in more discussions over other licences and all will be revealed at the same time MRE is made public.
