Meoryou., Brent is now virtually double the $60 threshold BP board has said is required to maintain A1 credit rating and fund dividend increments through 2025.
I have said many times on this board that we are unlikely to see the share price nearing £4.50/5 unless the dividend in increased substantially. I think we poor beleaguered shareholders have suffered enough Mr Looney, and you havn't done too badly have you.

****stan has mocked Ukraine by signing a massive deal with Putin to buy Russian gas. We are paying for it, having given ****stan £300,0000.00 in aid this year. How can this be right ???

jmak you are correct, they have kept it up for 7 years in Donbas region., unfortunately 14,000 souls have departed because of him in that region.

I think Putin fears NATO and wants Ukraine to have a puppet government under his control, but acting as a buffer between Russia and NATO, and that is assuming always that his current endeavor succeeds.
As for Ukraine wanting more from NATO, this sadly was never going to happen for very obvious reasons.
Should Putin occupy Ukraine then NATO will have to take an alternative view because he is then on NATO boundary and that could potentially be horrendous for all concerned

WeirdPal, I totally agree. BP can justifiably hold its head up high for taking the moral ground. I honestly believe we will have rich rewards looking forward

I imagine the biggest objection to no fly zones would be how on earth you can enforce/police it without escalating the situation dramatically.

Morning Happy, Hope your'e well... Difficult to see how we can do otherwise, for obvious reasons we wont use NATO forces and attack, which will instantly lead to a full blown ww3. Ukraine's appeal for NATO membership now will not be successful for the same reason in my opinion, but maybe after all this dies down. Not sure what impact no-fly zone will have, as I havn't seen much aerial bombing so far, but the powers that be must have considered it. I just hope and pray that this will cease immediately to save countless innocent lives. I just pray that someone is preparing to take this tyrant to a crimes tribunal.
