Just one product but seems F and S rate both companies. Plenty of work for all to compete for when it eventually kicks off.
Hopefully as it appears both product are rated CC can expand their product in the opposing direction.and challenge Wirepas in Europe and elsewhere.

Funny how anyone who posts anything positive about CC is looked upon as the Messiah yet anyone posting a negative or alternative opinion is looked upon as the devil. It's a discussion board, opinions will differ!
Tony ,it matters not the JCs information or anyone else,s is in the public domain. It's whether of not it's factual,. Being in the public domain just gives the opportunity to check the validity.
I've made clear my position more than once and am very comfortable,this does not mean I cannot take what I see as a balance view as opposed to fall in love with a share. That's how you make a decision to buy ,sell or hold.
Below is part of what I received when asking the question. You can make your own decision. What I would say is many products in many fields have more than one variation of the same product. My guess ( and the fact that Wirepas came late to the party) is they did what CC have done in the past,made design changes to their product to make it better and fit a particular customer.i may be wrong. This is what I consider my balanced opinion. Don't recall all the negative pushback when CC,changed and improved their offering?

One with IPv6, 6LoWPAN which is available for Electricity Smart metering business.

The Second RF Mesh profile on 865- 868Mhz/ 1.9Ghz is on IPv4 and is being used is Street Lighting, Gas Metering, Water Metering as of now where battery consumption ( Less than 10 Micro Amps and Very High Meter to Gateway Ratio is mandatory (around 3000 to 1)

Tony, I believe you accused me once before of being dishonest about my posts. The link I posted was factual. LTI,has consistently posted specific pieces of information from the same source. On these occasions you are supportive or does it just suit your agenda? I posted the full link for the benefit of anyone who wanted a quick one stop place to start some research. It's factual and accurate to the best of my knowledge.
For someone who for a while kept pushing Ceres at around I think £15 ,(seen the price recently?)
It's a bit rich to accuse others here of trying to "manipulate" the share price! As I have said in the past nothing posted here makes a scrap of difference...... Research and a bit of luck is the only way to make a profit.
You don't appear to ever DYOR despite advising others to do so. I posted a link to the Wirepas site, did you do as I did and bother to email the company? I did and received and email response within 24 hrs providing valuable information that is in the public domain. To make it simple and as lessons to learn debrief:

Perhaps you could set out exactly when I have attempted to deliberately mislead in order for Colour an opportunity to knock back the SP (once again .....nothing posted here makes a scrap of difference.) You seem to allude I am in some sort of cohort of Colour!

I understood that LTI . My point was it should be good for getting the good, bad and indifferent news to take a balanced view. This as opposed to somewhat one sided views from both sides of the fence at times.

I think the statement demonstrates Wirepas are not one of those "unproven vendors" starting to flounder.
Just wish we knew the background behind Anils return.

Yes I have read the report LTI , the one that suggested no competition. I also read the disclaimer at the end.
That's why I tend not to put to much focus on those types of articles.
As I say I believe more than one company will be involved.

So LTI . You are saying CC have no competition? I think you know that's not true.
As you say opinions may differ, I am however a realist and keeping an open mind, that's how you assess risk versus reward.
Hopefully CC will win one of the bids, I for one will be happy when and if they win a significant order.

I can only refer you to my 0805 post yesterday. I guess it's how you interpret it. I read it as 3m with 256k installed but of course I could be wrong. We know BCITS are working with Wirepas and building a platform so for me I think they have another and have installed the 256k but again I could be wrong.
I don't think it's beyond the realms of possiblity that both companies tech is at the front, it just depends who wins what.
I know from experience companies will often choose more than one solution and play one company against the other until they get the solution they want. The orders are then placed which is the important thing. What is interesting is Wirepas came to the table late ,I think 2019 and seem to have made an impact

Morning LTI. I believe the product has to be "vendor agnostic" . That being the case you could utilise more than one supplier and consequently spread the potential risk for the end user. I doubt very much one company will win all in India. It will ultimately come down to cost ,risk and delivery timescales. India cannot afford to delay much longer (as has been pointed out before, is the norm.) That considered it would makes sense to go with more than one provider if only to reduce timescales.
Hence the reason I remain open minded and still have a long term position. I don't think however it helps when Hardman produce what in my view is somewhat of an amateurish report suggesting there are no competitors.

Perhaps Wirepas and CC are the front runners......?
