Cobus Loots, CEO of Pan African Resources, on delivering sector-leading returns for shareholders. Watch the video here.
Trouble is I think CC pulled a hamstring.......
Morning Tony.
Hate to say it but I'm not expecting anything out of the ordinary tomorrow, I hope I'm wrong though.
We've been here so many times before with some shareholders behaving like a kid at Xmas hoping Santa John will deliver them some goodies. I fear it's going to be the same old hot air prior to another raise.
Maybe I'm just becoming a cynical old bugger , but when you've been fed all the same nonscence for as long as I can remember you become a bit cynical. As I said in my earlier post let's hope JCs comedy show has some more promising material this year.
Remember I did suggest a while back that anything major ,order wise if coming would likely not be before Q2/3at best due to the long drawn out procurement processes, let's see how close I am. GLA.
Nodding dog alert............JC latest comedy standup , let's hope the materials significantly better than the last show.
Aviva are not allowed to discriminate between old and new customers.
It's also worth remembering when using online only and you tick the box all the risk is on you if not reading the terms and conditions very closely. Guess it depends how much hassle you want if you need to claim.
My wife's just renewed with Aviva and the uplift from last year was about 20%. She still had various figures from shopping around last year, guess what......all up about 20%. Think its an inflationary issue around repair costs etc.
Hi ITT.
Good question amd something I've tried working out.
CC have always said it is commercially sensitive. I would imagine it is depend on how desperate they are at any given time. Hopefully if they get significant numbers it will be better the stack em high ,sell em cheap. Not sure if it will natter much anyway, the more I look at this the more I am becoming convinced there will be a takeover.
Try putting some context around your ranting scally. Aviva cannot refuse to pay out a valid claim so why have you not gone to the FCA? I don't think this board is the place to post unsupported gossip.
Like your prediction about Aviva Pork? You e got nothing right ever.....now back to school or you will miss double maths.
Clown and clueless lol

Morning ITT. I read with some amusement the comment on the other board saying " it would if they were profitable". You could also argue if the profit is not there in the first place the loss would just be bigger lol.
Another poster is suggesting you remove the Middle East Numbers as they don't suit !.
Ignore EBITDA at your peril. One would think CC are setting out their stall for another cash call.
One other thing struck me. "Higher proportion of revenue from Middle East, albeit on lower margin hardware, affecting forecast overall gross margin." are they saying the have reduced the margin on the products? If so why and will this be the same for India?
As always with CC It's not what they say it's what they don't say. Could be the reason for the consistent drop in the SP recently.
You missed a bit LTI...........
"Higher proportion of revenue from Middle East, albeit on lower margin hardware, affecting forecast overall gross margin. While it is too early to determine at this stage, it is expected that as a result Adjusted EBITDA will also be lower than market expectation"
Morning ITT.
I think I can see where this is going. CC sold for a song , directors given "positions on the aquiring company ( Well paid of course) for a short time. One by one they retire after feathering their own nest.
I have a feeling the smaller shareholders who got in at a single figure average will make a nice profit but not a fortune, this will go to the main players.
Only my thoughts of course but let's see how far out I am when it happens.
Same here Mcgoof.
The drop has been consistent over 2 months from around 23p to 13, perhaps a new share "incentive" scheme is under discussion. With the apparent orders imminent I am just suspicious.....or maybe paranoid based upon past history. GLA.
Can you smell it yet Tony? I'm not the only one who has said something is not quite right for weeks now. Large holder selling out....no news......steady and consist price drop... Over 8% down last time I checked. Is it pockets being primed for lining.....or something worse. You pays your money and takes your chance. Cue Kenny Rogers .....
Wife just received her offer to renew her car insurance.......20% increase with full no claims !!!!. Guess another 40 year loyal household and motor customer Aviva dont want . Are they intending to get rid of General Arm ????
@scally. Don't know how long your claim has been in but sadly 2 months to jump through all the legals really is not unreasonable. I assume you have contacted the ombudsman? If you have a case they will sort the issue. Hooe you get it sorted.
Have we decided who has the biggest dick yet? Reading some of the posts on this board in the last few days it seems competition is tight. Once the votes are in we can hopefully get back to sensible discussion.
Seems casapinos has at least started the ball rolling with some relevant information.
Hi Vas.
OTA firmware software updates are standard practice these days for all sorts of kit. Had one yesterday for my smart watch which gave additional features . Both my meters at home were old ones which didn't originally work when I changed supplier. Both now work fine so I guess they must have been done at some point as well.
Looks like just a standard OTA firmware/software update. Much like you have on your mobile phone, tablet ,laptop etc.
