The reason the MMs maintain a big spread is because this is illiquid and prone to big moves so they do not want to be caught short one way or the other

We know we have some great known known catalysts and news flow due but the famous sleeves comment also suggests a lot of unknown knowns and unknown unknowns so this is actually a great sign that on significant news we could see the MMs just mark the stock up to 30/40p because there will simply be no other way to create a market or shake the tree to loosen stock from the hands of those who understand the upside optionality

PYC can release all the news they want but the Market has realized that these are not profitable contracts

The way contracting works is you win a contract then pay your contractors to carry out the work. There is zero profit margin on these contracts because PYC add very little value. Meanwhile PYC shareholders have to stump up every year to pay overheads.

It is dishonest to compare a contracting business to an IP development company like APTA or FAB

The recent move is not due to the leaking of inside information but a fundamental re-evaluation by the Market on the back of a long awaited patent grant on their main technology IP platform added to the technical chart situation whereby the gap down in May 2023 means there is limited resistance areas on the chart between c.12p and 30p

Big Pharma don't buy these sorts of Companies it's not within their business model many of them don't do the original research and just licence products from bios/Pharmas once they are through Phase 1 or 2. The Big Pharma are just sales pipelines and brand names. There is a reason FAB went to US NCI for validation as they are the ones who will deal with the small bios/Pharmas doing to earlier stage pre clinical and clinical research studies

Kincaids old company AbCam got taken over for $5bn not by 'Big Pharma' but middling diagnostics/CRO Danaher

AbCam/Danaher is a far more likely potential partner and acquiror of FAB than 'Big Pharma'

My suspicion is November will be US NCI official validation and that will given them huge boost on top of the patent. There will be loads of bios and pharma wanting to licence... Why licence without that added validation ? You will be able to charge top dollar in December onwards versus a launch now in Sept/October

US comparators like AbSci (ABSI) are valued at $400m+ which demonstrates the potential of FAB

The other indicator of potential value is that just one antibody FAB discovered went on to be sold for over $400m
