RE: Long term perspective3 Mar 2019 07:49
@addicknt a "hairshirt" but rational assessment. With benefit of hindsight your
comments view my own position. I got in too early!
bcn is a conundrum, and has considerably affected value of kdnc--hence fall in our sp.
However I cannot believe that the vast lithium reserves at bcn will not be developed.
Given that prospect the Sonora jv will be worth a fortune.
I also do not subscribe to the comments often made here that kdnc is gradually declining
to be of no value. The Iskander loan is an albatross, yes, but it can, and will be, repaid ---
even if by selling assets at a loss.
After that we are still left with considerable unrealised investments, both quoted and non
quoted. The BOD could just sit and wait for the potential, given the Li battery future,to come
to fruition. I would expect salaries/expenses [as has already been done] to be reduced further
to reflect less operational involvement, in that case.
There is of course a good prospect of kdnc involvement in the Argentina licences. I would
need to be convinced here, however, as further progress in the short term would seem to
required funding beyond present resources.
So to sum up-- disappointing, yes--terminal,definitely no--interesting punt at this sp?
