RE: Amapa funding6 Jul 2019 22:27
Right, now recovered [almost] from birthday celebration and revisited Amapa deal.
So, I guess I was right and wrong at same time. Revenue is anticipated from sale of
stockpile material [and this appears to be significant] but is not going directly to kdnc.
KM stated that we need to raise a further $3.5m for the commissioning report and the
stockpile is expected to provide working capital and some contribution towards bringing
the port & railway back in to full operation [rehabilitation]
The actual proceeds, commencing Q4 2019, will be paid to the jv company.
So to answer the original question ---where is the initial additional capex coming from?----
at this stage not easy to answer. I guess the joker in the pack would be sale of Sonora jv
which would sure be a game changer. But there are other assets coming in to the reckoning.
I would very much doubt a further equity raise, the recent action of BOD tells me that is unlikely.
