Mali won't be issuing an export permit to Kodal until the spodumene price is a lot higher than today (was around$ 620per tonne at time of writing). The minimum price the Mali government wants I don't know.

But I do know we previously agreed a floor price of $750 a tonne with Hainan but that's since been removed, presumably by the Mali government. I also know the expectations of sale prices were set in our latest study (DFS). I'm assuming that the hold up on the export permit is down to the lack of tax revenue generated at current spod prices.

Can I ask, where's our export permit?

It's good news that spod has risen, is $800 enough? Not so sure myself... Probably nearer $900 required, soon find out.
