Eldorado. I was cynical about the bod's financial postion and inability to keep to promises about updates. Both of those items proved well founded and I was absolutely right to not buy for all that time. I have now invested as they are finally drilling - and I consider the risk v reward for this drill to be compelling.
I'm happy with my av and expect a healthy return this year.
It's a shame that the mess they made over the first 12-18 months cost so many people a lot of money and turned supporters into haters.

4 options at 7am:
1) Drill issues RNS - drop to 4-6p range depending on severity of issue. Seems unlikely to me - the twitter source looked incredibly dodgy.
2) No news - recovery to 9p - most will assume the panic sell was overdone and clearly the company would need to confirm if there were any truth in drill issues nonsense - ie: silence means no issue and company understandably not bothering to react to every stupid twitter rumour.
3) BOD confirm that progress is good and no issue with drill - 10p+ IMO. Fear turns to greed very quickly on AIM, and this drill has at least 3 targets, is incredible RvR with huge upside for holders. First target within days with 90% COS.
4) RNS of first target hit and good oil shows - 12p by close - this wouldn't suprise me and would explain the twitter rumour.

There have been endless problems in the past. Sonny and many others lost money - they will remember I was posting about the incompetent bod all the way down. Now we're drilling. The odds are good. Time to moan is past. Now is time for the reward.

Please can you explain your interest here. You appear to have recently created an account on LSE with the sole purpose of repetitively pointing out negative or seeemlingly negative things about this little aim bio firm. Do you have a financial interest here? Do you have a long or short postition? Are you planning on taking one?
These are fairly simple and reasonable questions....

Thanks to the appearance of the fool, and the super weird trading, I have taken the plunge and have bought back in. Just a tiny amount (under 10% of my old holding) as my money is now securely tied up in a house. I couldn't resist a small punt as something must be imminent to cause his appearance.
Anyway, I'm back in with 25k at av about 28.9p - which is a crazy price. Minimal risk from here and I get to enjoy the ride again. (haha - not sure that could ever apply to Motif)

Possibly higher imo. The tree shake was innitiated by those remaining 8p placement takers who wanted some off the table pre-results and was fueled by nervous holders. The 8p guys will be done now, and the fearful will quickly turn into the greedy.
This is an ideal time hold here as there is almost no risk (next week we will hear that the first target was hit and there are good oil shows, and likely hear about licences too). Plus the excitement will build as the main targets approach - I'm expecting the herd to appear next week and for us to see well over 10p, likely over 12p.

So they have agreement to keep the rig for a second drill and have secured death spiral funding for this additional cost. Looks like they are preparing for bad news. If they expected good news in the coming weeks then surely they would raise via a placement at a much much higher sp.
Doesn't smell good - especially given the way they misled investors last year, and held back information on lack of licence & rig and funding shortfall.

IMO too many people over exposed due to several waves of averaging down, and plan to de-risk / top slice pre results. With the past problems, not many people will want to hold a large position until the end. This is creating the constant resistance /downward pressure to counter any rise.
For openness, I sold mine at a profiit a couple of days ago.

Why would you choose to be invested - because I firmly believe in the bod and the science.
Why would you sell with 5 months till fda decision - because I need the money elsewhere.
I was ramping last week - because I felt we had finally turned a corner with Amp off our backs, potential commercial deal, sp moving favourably and just in time as I knew I would need funds at the end of October.
Generally people on this forum have been very decent with a shared interest in motif.

What an odd thing to say. I have had 300-350k shares (most of my remaining money) invested here for the majority of the last 2 years. I hoped it would be worth a lot more by now. We're buying a house and I need the money so I have to throw in the towel and sell. How is that a ramp or deramp. It was an information only post directed at some of the decent people I have chatted with over the years. I wished them luck in the future. I still believe in the company but obviously need the money in about a month and can't risk further short term volatility.
Cripes, money brings out the worst in some people.
