Am I right in thinking that after the asset disposal / repayment of loans etc then RLD (as a cash shell ) will basically be debt free, be left with negligible cash in the bank and the value in the shell would be from the potential tax benefits of £17m (CAD $27.5m) in carried losses on the books?
Any other debts or assets that I’ve missed or misinterpreted in the final results and the last few RNS ?

Nice to see the rise and I’m not ignoring the positive sound of multiple offers (in theory other bidders know $36m is the lowest offer to beat) but don’t forget the last offer. GL
“The main terms and conditions of the Sale Offer are:
Consideration - cash consideration in the amount of USD 36 million, payable on execution of the definitive agreement for the Sale Offer; such consideration shall be first used for the full payment of the amounts owed by Matomy to holders of its outstanding convertible bonds (the "Bondholders"), which currently amount to approximately NIS 101 million in principal, plus interest.”
yesterday you could only sell 150k above .17 but as soon as it dropped to .16 bid you could sell 4mil at .165, then it rose back to .17 bid close to close with no trades.
Ps The last RNS said they would update shortly.
“The Company also announces that further to the notification of 25 June 2019, the Company is still waiting on receipt of the R&D tax credit of £400,000 from HMRC. The Company expects to receive this amount shortly. As a result, the Company continues to carefully manage its working capital position. A further notification will be made in due course.”
I Tried buying these this morning at ~1.8p but halifax gives the following message. “We no longer allow investment in this stock.” Out of interest Who are you using to trade this?
Taken a small punt here today. Made A simple guess looking at the volumes last few days that it will bounce a tad from here within a few weeks, once the remaining II share sales stop and their shares are absorbed in to the market.
L2 shows A few left at 8, then it’s a full board of 9s.
Personally I’m just here to trade the confirmed payment of £400k tax credit RNS when it comes, it is overdue now and my assumption is that it will be announced before end of Q3 and a sudden interest in Val will pump the sp to a ~£2.5-3m Mcap.
If any other positive news comes out beforehand that’s a bonus.
I thought that was the case, I was looking at the fee details I found ( link below) but wasn’t sure if I was reading the right thing or what charge applied to Val, i just thought it just was a bit of a strange line to add to the rns if it was only a few grand, almost like they want to create doubt or spin a negative into an otherwise positive rns,
Is Taking its time. Google says within 28 days, Val is not what I would class as a large company.
“HMRC aim to make payments within 28 days for SMEs claiming research and development (R&D) tax credits. Corporation Tax repayments can be much quicker, and sometimes come through within a week of your claim being filed. Large company claims usually take longer to pay due to the greater complexity of their business”
Well GNK Thank you, for free shares I earned in my youth and the 17 years of dividends. PS. Please don’t put the prices up at my local and flood it with contaminated pork :)
that was a quick £500 loss in under 2 trading hours for whoever traded the 314,057. And the same for the 31k, 25k trades, guess they are impatient or playing games?
Just over 1%, half for trades, half for longer term.
I know it’s not their plan but when it could theoretically payout the Mcap as a div and still have cash left, or buy back 20% of the companies shares for <£400k and create one of the biggest squeezes going and have cash left to keep running.
I know that’s not the plan and the bulk of the cash may be spent on an acquisition (or it could be paid in shares).
