We expect news at some time soon - will it be when the strike happens or will there be an RNS before the market opens so the MMs get the chance to consider the impact on the sp, either up or down? Any thoughts?

I think the 56 days includes any analyses - but I have seen 56 days or eight weeks mentioned somewhere. Having sate that 40 days is the drill time so next week will be pivotal imo

Wednesday may well be pivotal for the gas drill. Then onwards for oil. We should remember that there are other potential sites in the area - it's not just about the current drill. MC stil only £21m at 0.20p with plenty of other prospects including Wressle over the next six months

If news comes over the weekend then the sp will open a lot higher on Monday with no chance of getting in at these levels again

Keep talking it down guys as I am happy to keep topping. Don't forget that those who paid 0.45p were happy to do so, knew what was likely to happen and would expect to make a profit at some stage.

Still seven days to 40. Non of us know what is going on so as far as we are concerned the situation is the same as it was when spudded. We were keen then so will the fall back in the sp I will add a few million tomorrow.

Due Friday 31st I guess with earnings for the year of 31p? They may hold the final dividend but may need to caution the current year payout. IMO of course.

CB will tell you to focus on the asset and not the sp or mc. BZT have the assets and CB and his associates were happy to buy in at 0.36p and I am sure they do not want to lose out. There will be a fund raise and given the opportunity I will take up any entitlement. If not I will top up in the market to avoid dilution. Assets are important and as they say some times it is better to buy the company than dig or drill yourself. £5m will buy a lot of assets for a major who can waite and then invest.

Forget WN and Wressle and UJO is still worth the current MC. Gas probably early next week will see a sp hike and a potential oil find later will push it up further. 0.20p still only £21m cap.

If you want to ensure you are in when TD is reached then it will be necessary to do this over the next four days.

I think that with the potential at WN and the income streams from California we ought to see the sp over the 1p level shortly. We are looked upon an investment company whch I feel is a little unfair. As I understand it the plan will be to move notise any investment, capitalise, and return cash to shareholders.

Like it or not next week could be pivotal for us. Having read the annual accounts I am happy to stay with UJO as they seem to be a growth company in the on shore oil/gas market. WN, Wressle and BIS could all be massive although there is much more to the company than these prospects. No doubt there will be short term punters in and possible out in the next couple of weeks who no doubt will make money. The shares can be pumped up of course but in the end it will be the realising of the drill and not the expectation that will make the real money.

Massive debts and I fear that with the Johnsons stepping down the end is close. I must say there has been a lot of bad luck over the last few years but going forward there is no drive or financial support.

The result of the drill will probably be announced in an early morning RNS and I would suspect that this would be ahead of the 40 day time line given. With UJO, RBD, Humber and Rathlin all with an interest I am sure they would like to come in ahead of the time given, so I feel next week will be all about news. All of these knowledgeable investors have put some decent money into this prospect and each will know a lot more about the potential than us humble PIs.

No news is good imo. This delay suggests that there could be a lot more than 15m. If this is the case then our £2 MC will become a distant memory.

If any of us are looking to top up it may be prudent to do this before the long weekend as the drill will continue and there may well be an indication of positive progress. Also if the find could be huge for the country then the weekend press may show an interest.

Two existing wells producing, drill ready projects, WN about to reveal, Wressle prospect looks much better for November and a potential tie up with Humber. MC looks at bit low at £14m.
