My thought for what it is worth. Jersey stake reduced to a little under 6pc-why not sell the lot? Because when UJO acquire the Humber interests from Jersey for UJO shares, Jersey will not have more than that magic 30pc. It will make commercial sense for the two to join up as they share several licences. As I have posted before FL to be appointed CEO and DB upstairs to Chairman.
If in doubt sell out and take the cash. Seems little point moaning about an investment yet continuing to hold. Why hold for recovery if you feel the investment is dead - it is worth what it s worth. If however any investor feels there is recovery potential from current levels then perhaps further investment should be made!
I posted that I had lost a little trust not faith. When you repeat on several occasions that you are fully funded then you should be fully funded bearing in mind that DB had said WN could be transformational to UJO and potentially to the nation. And of course he often speaks of transparancy. It would have been better if DB had kept his options of funding open. Having said that I will probably add to my 27m as I still beleive in the journey.
Results are very late for a CEO that always speaks positively so I can only imagine that there will be a very, very good update or a major development. Any repeat of the February update won't wash. Unless of course the wheels are still off the track.
I am quite happy to wait for GW to relist in his time as I am sure he and the BOD want to get it about right. When I bought into this shell I was parking cash into something that could take time to evolve as all shells do if they are ever to be successful. GW has put cash in to keep it going without recourse to investors and has bolted on additional directors who would not have joined unless they believed in the journey. When investing in a shell you never know what it's future could be but with Infinity we know that some interesting projects are being introduced into what GW wants to grow an international company.
Could well be that the weekend press will get hold of the story. Once the worth of the discovery gets known it will bring real assets to the Balance Sheet.
No one would provide £2m in a junior unless they could see substantial benefit. This could be the beginning of a huge development in Ind which has vast oil resourses.
Whatever the sp, and I think it will move higher over the coming week or so, it will not alter the size of the discovery and its potential. Massive opportunity to top up if it hangs aroun current levels.
Very good but not much going on here. Will we make a profit this year? I doubt it. Should we open an office in Manchester or Leeds? Yes. Manchester is now the second city and growing. MB says we will save £300k in a full year by moving offices. So we will need to take this into account to see how much the trading operation actually made, or lost. How about an office in Newcastle N?
I have a reasonable holding here but if I didn't then I would be buying at current levels. To my mind a mc of £20m is nuts and DB historically has been very cautious but his mood has changed somewhat to very positive. Also SW at RBD who is no fool is very upbeat so I can see further sp progress now we have had the tree shake. Much more to come from WN, much more to come from Wressle in November and NK drill ready for late 2019. £1 invested now could be worth £5 in six months time with little if any downside.
Good news but I fear nobody is collecting stamps. The younger generation has never heard of stamps as they use emails and of course the older farts are dying off and leaving collections that no one wants. Ask a youngster where the nearest post box is and they would send for the men with the white coats. Sad but true. Coins may be different but not enough to sustain Gibbons.
I am not spooked by the sp and it provides a buying opportunity imo. MC at current levels is what UJO should be worth without the WN find - that is £20m. A more realistic valuation for the company should be £50m when the potential of WN is considered together with BIS, Wressle and other projects. The market will shake a few out who wanted a quick trade but the LTHs will begin to buy in over the coming week or so.
