Apparently i'm lazy and a time thief? And i certainly don't work hard all day! Just read the comments posted by the knowledgeable. So, why would you want any more posties like me?
I don't really have any time in the day to look in here. Some of us have a life. And i enjoy mine.

Excellent article.
I particularly like the RM costs are lower than other couriers. This from Biscuiteers, who the shareholders leader, Si, spoke about the other day.
Interestingly, some allude to coming back to Royal Mail when this is all done and dusted.
I have no idea why they would.
If Royal Mail get what they want, collapsing of duties, workloads will become even more unmanageable.
So, it will not matter what time you start or finish, you will fail every day. Be it letters, packets, tracked items. Take your pick.
All goodwill has gone out of the window.
The great man is clearly looking after his shareholders.

I have absolutely no idea.
They have been trying to push the green agenda.
They have also been trying to convince anyone who will listen that it's to capture the items bought online and requested for delivery the following day. Well currently that figure is in the 10's in my office. Not 1,000's or even 100's.
Whatever RM have in mind and the reasons why, do not make sense to me.

My interpretation is different from yours. I keep saying "consecutive days" of IA.
Somewhere within these guidelines from gov.Uk is a passage that states "willingly returning to work" after IA.
My colleagues and myself have willingly returned to work. IMO the "12-week period" as it is now known here, becomes irrelevant.
I guess we'll have to wait and see.
If you are right, and others here, RM will have to issue a statement to this effect. Prior to dismissal.

It was just a question, with the reference being on letters and untracked items.
DW mentioned on LBC that RM wanted to do away with the morning delivery. Something that is a bit of a sticking point.
So, rightfully or not, i assumed he meant parcels when speaking about a 24/7 delivery.

I would agree if you said that it benefited just the one "parcel delivery" network that DW agreed.

Totally agree.
So, since privatisation both RM and GLS have both been separate companies.
Neither have funded each other since then. Or since RM bought GLS from Rico Back in the late nineties.
