I know the price for RMG (not IDS) hit 6 quid plus not so long ago, but the moronic have invested at much higher prices than this.
Why has D..K invested at much higher prices?

Totally agree. Currently, we have no bargaining power . That is why the PEC have recommended accepting this offer.
Where this leaves us posties, going forward, is probably not good.
But, the more we give to IDS, the more important we become.
Especially with the USO still in play.

500 quid before tax ain't a great amount. If it was four figures, the thought process changes for many.

The thing that sticks out straight away, is why would RMG not insist on a vote for the £500 or £1500. I'm certain that the majority would have seen the higher figure and not bothered about anything else.
The pay rise last year, this year and next year are an absolute disgrace. And i say this because of the obscene amounts of money given to managers, shareholders in the way of pay rises, bonuses, dividends and share buy-backs.

DPR's. Not a major thing for me. I mentioned a year ago that offices, vans etc were not fit for purpose. You take away all the D.O handling and delivery of these items and you make the deliveries bigger.
I also mentioned that with the drop off in letters, that bikes would be the most efficient way of delivering letters and small packets.

Annualised hours. I touched on this yesterday. 24 minutes per day up or down makes absolutely no difference to my life. I did give a scenario where i could actually be finishing earlier. We'll see how that one goes. I cannot see any manager, managing this. SISO is currently not working. Or is it the managers not doing what they should be?

30 minutes flexing. It's been in place for years. You are never given the time back, so have to book excess. Well, that won't be happening.

And finally: Later start and finish times.
As i posted yesterday, MY OFFICE were told some weeks ago that it would be 18 minutes. Does that fit into my life outside of RM? Easily.
Then we get to 60 minutes. That's problematic.
90 minutes? No chance.
So, i would have no choice but to leave. And i've said that many times.
But then i read that RM would try to accomodate any difficulties that this may pose.
Unfortunately, i don't believe them.

It's a NO from me.

Anger and his fellow investors here are desperately clinging to the fact that VESA, and their God, D..K, buy out the company. For at least double the price.
The markets don't think it will happen. After all, an agreement has been reached, sort of. Share price up by 10%.
I've already mentioned the reduction in duties. A paper exercise, but the reduction in overtime and headcount is there.

I can't help thinking about Macys. If the same were to happen here, the share price would be decimated.
And i'll be sitting there with my 12 grand, waiting.

I was told today that another 5 duties will be taken out before next year?
Over 20% in just over a year. The USO will be shored up by these reductions. Regardless of whether or not the conditions are met.
RM will pay the fine.

The savings made will off-set the decrease in mail volumes, with bigger deliveries.

To make it simple for you: If there was an 80% reduction in staff, and the USO was still in place, would RM be making more money than they are now?

So the fact that 5 duties were taken out of my office (10% ish), extra workload placed on other duties, headcount reduced, it does not make any savings for IDS? Thereby making the USO more profitable than it is now?

I also note, from your daily and extended posting, that there is never a mention of DSA.

Do you think that if DSA was to be "looked into and amended", then this may make the USO more affordable?
I cannot remember how much RM charged for final mile delivery, but it was, and probably still is, peanuts.
