If you allow for compound interest over the next 3 years, we will actualy have come out of this with a worse deal. Should it be accepted.

It's good that you know plenty about your employees.
Yes, we do get paid well for unskilled labour. The job however, is probably more demanding than many think.

As for micro managing: Have you heard about indoor and more importantly, outdoor actuals? Ask your employees. They should have.
What time do they finish their RMG job and what time do they start work for you? If they are finishing early from RMG, and you're relying on them to start at a certain time, that will be a problem for you. That would be a real conflict of interests for you, wouldn't it?
Pensions have been eroded since 2008. But still not as bad as basics.

So things aren't that bad for some employees. But they could get a whole lot worse if the shareholders like yourself get your way.

What world are you living in? There is nothing in that offer that is good. It's underwritten by a clause.
And why would you think a 6%, 3 year pay rise is good? It's lower than inflation.
There will be no compulsory redundancies.
And as for the gig economy and zero hours contracts? If we deliver on plan springs to mind.

If I remember correctly your Bruv couldn't handle life at RMG. And that was as a manager. I use that term loosely, of course.
How long would he have lasted on delivery? 4 hours + in all kinds of weather. And then the constant barrage that he could do more!
And you are now admiring wolvesposty. This is the blue collar worker, who holds up amazon as a way that RMG posties should be working, and then berates the salary they get.
It gets more and more ridiculous on this board each day.

He / She may post a lot of what seems to be knowledgeable information, but nearly all of it is about how fantastically well he / she has done.
And from reading the posts today the tack has obviously changed.

Going on from your CWU and RMG differences.
In the Swindon parcel separation trial, on ""ONE"" occasion 4 parcels were removed from duty and replaced with 150 addresses.
So lets assume that the postie on that duty prior to removal of the parcels, works his full day. He has now been given an unmanageable workload. What happens to the mail he cannot deliver? Lets say that this happens to every duty. Then what?
And before anybody gets on their high horse, my delivery office is no longer fit for purpose IMO. So something has to be done, should the explosion in parcels that many on here expect actually happen.
