The Mirror have released details of Simon Thompsons Pay and perks deal. According to them he got £753,000 which included £142,000 bonus.
It's long been though that RMG reward failure.
Well done Thompson. You have succeeded.
This time next year you will no doubt have a very healthy severance pay off.

I get the feeling that Terry Pullinger is not too happy with the CEO.

I don't understand if this project is as fantastic as Matt Bull leads us to believe, then why is it so hard to raise cash. The ML was granted September 2021. Nearly ten months ago.
In the meantime us little shareholders have had to witness a continual decline. Over 50% since then.
If this project is so good why didn't Matt Bull raise at 6p?
Yes, if he did i would've have been pretty narked. That would have been because of the fantastic economics we have been told about. But to see it here, at this price? We could have been mining soon!!!
And what the flip is the mining expert chappy doing? Give us some news on what he is actually achieving.

You mention the CWU getting too militant. Would that not work both ways with RMG. They're digging their heels in too.
If you were an employee (and shareholder) would you not feel a little bit peeved that hundreds of millions was given out to shareholders and today Thompson was telling TP the company is struggling. That's why the company need to make these cost saving measures.

There's a difference between grafting and killing yourself. Which it appears the hierarchy would wish.
People should try the job.
It's not just physically demanding, as it's always been. But visually too. When you look at 2 full yorks of packets it has a crushing effect on people. It feels unachievable in the time frame. Yet staff are constantly "asked" to go over their time.

Or indeed how workshy you and your relative are.
Tell me Maximas1, how long your relatives delivery spans are according to geo route. How many dp's they have. How many flats, broken down into various categories. What the attendance call is. How many staff in post. How many vacancies. P/T to F/T ratio.

And most importantly what delivery office are he, she and you working at. I doubt very much you'll impart that information.

Oli. I am a staunch supporter of RMG. Initially with a mother who was an employee years ago and as a shareholder since 2013.
However I detest the machinations of the CWU. In my mind once workers stop talking to the owners of the Company and place their futures in the hands of Unions it's a downward slope.
I have watched the goings on and listened to the CWU mouthpieces for too long. The Company needs to be free to take its strengths and grow more. Of course with the workforce backing. No Company can be its best with a hostile workforce or one represented by a hostile Union.
I shall not have acrimonious conversations with you in future because I have read your comments for far too long and know where your coming from. You believe in what you say and I respect that. We shall merely disagree on occasions.

@ Redceo. I felt the need to paste your sermon addressing it to the wrong poster, corrected swiftly though. It's odd how your posts fully side with RMG management and never with the posties. Despite your acknowledgement that we may have an opinion. This shows how far you are from what your postie actually does. You can carry on with your biased opinion as a shareholder, but it doesn't make it right.

If you as a shareholder think that this is the correct approach, then you are as deluded as Thompson.
What do you think would happen if there was a prolonged strike?
I'm not talking just about the effect on the current share price, but as a business going forward.

If Thompson thinks that imposing anything by executive action is the way to do things, he is seriously wrong.
This tells me a few things.

1- Thompson doesn't care if there is IA. Already mentioned.
2- Thompson is stupid.
3- We will be on strike after we have received a pay increase. So in effect the loss won't be as bad. Thanks Simon.

Better start putting in some overtime now, so i can save for my unpaid days off.
