There appears to be many positives here.
And when each bit of news eventually filters through, it appears to only accentuate how good this project is.
It worries me though that that sentiment isn't shared. Look at the price.
Yes AIM is volatile, but this is ridiculous.
The price needs to recover by 140% to get to the levels that we were at, post mining licence.
I'm now happy with a 0% increase on the day.
What is happening at the actual site? Something must be happening.

I don't begrudge Thompson anything.
But in the current climate, news of his rather large bonus, salary and bonuses paid to lower level management for missing their targets, doesn't sit well with me.
Then you have the 400 million in January for shareholders with more to come in September, yet he tells whoever wants to listen, that the company can't afford more than 2% for the real workers.

I cannot see any other outcome. The CEO is not for turning, IMO.
The mood is the darkest i have ever seen. Even the scabs from yesteryear want back in to the CWU.
And when you then read about his wages and bonuses and the boss of GLS, it kind of grates a tad. I understand that management will be paid bonuses too, and they have failed to reach their targets.
My only concern is with the turnout. People tend to think their vote doesn't matter too much.
If you're thinking about buying back in, i wouldn't. There will definitely be a yes vote and dates announced for action.

There are many people on here who suggest that Newmont/Agnico are withholding price sensitive information.
We are an AIM listed company so i would assume that reporting procedures for price sensitive information apply. Whether or not that information is applied to the TSX, i do not know. But we are AIM listed.
Regardless of any samples taken, or how long they have been taking these samples, i would suggest that there is nothing newsworthy, at this moment.

All i see from Russia's invasion of Ukraine is bloodshed, destruction and rape. Totally unwarranted, despite the assertions of some on here who say that the people of the Crimea and Donbass are being persecuted.
Look at it from this perspective! The Ukrainian people who are now being persecuted, killed, raped, tortured, et al, have decided to move out of the Ukraine. Forced to move!!!!!
Millions of them!
If the war is based on the Crimea and Donbass "atrocities", why didn't the victims move out? Just like the Ukrainians.
Before you say they shouldn't have to, nor should the innocent citizens who have now lost probably everything.

Does anybody actually know the reporting criteria for Newmont / Agnico?
I cannot believe that they are bound by any other rules than in the UK.
Price sensitive information is what it is. If you didn't need to report this there could be all manner of underhand dealings.
So the idea that Newmont / Agnico are withholding any good news is ridiculous. Unless of course they do not have to inform the market of this.
More likely is that there is nothing to tell us yet.

And i certainly dont understand the machinations of trying to finance and build a graphite mine. Why would i?

When the graphite was proved up to be battery grade and all the alleged talks about funding and off-takes was being cascaded via RNS, why has nothing happened?
Financing RNS's were released. How have these not been progressed since? Any sort of positive update is welcome. That tells me there is nothing positive!
If this project is so "financially viable" why have we not got funding? If funding talks were in place before the ESIA and ML, why has this not materialised? 18 months payback on a 40 million dollar loan, and there are no takers???
Something is not right!

And i keep going on about it. Matt Bull and his interview with Money sponge (i think). The investment of the century. Well i ain't gonna be living for that long Matt. How about some news, NOW!

So what is the 10% negative side of the mine not getting built?
The economics of this project stand up to scrutiny, so there should be plenty of willing lenders. Through debt,equity plus warrants, hnwi's, cln's, stealing etc. So i'd have to say that financing is not an issue.
We have the ML, which goes hand in hand with the Tanzanian governments blessing. We have the ESIA.
Why would there be a negative side? And what is it?

Just noticed this in your post. I assume that you are referring to Ukraine. Didn't Ukraine say that they were NOT going to join NATO?
