I see that the sage KevinRound has turned up again - the guy who called the renewables as being " worth pennies " and who declared that a farm out partner would not be interested based on Kev's calculations which factored in a field life of FIVE years....!

And talking about 100m, that's what H1 and Gazelle combined would roughly earn in 20 years based on today's oil price. That should give an indication of what block 20 might be worth with say 30 or 40 such wells producing...

Soco needed 27 wells to extract what we are producing from just two wells. And Gazelle may yet be turned up to who knows what ? Apparently both H1 and Gazelle are producing at well above the average of PC's wells.

In a way though, I wish they would just sell block 20 for between 150m to 200m. Maybe they will.

You don't need an MBA to be able to read what MB stated - that the outgoings have been skimmed down to match the current profit from H1's 150 bopd. Hence the huge pay cuts.

Well we are producing 350 bopd, and even with 70% being paid that will still generate free cash from 245 bopd only being paid. And that's even assuming that the 30% withholding will go on all winter, which is highly unlikely.

Pilsbury ; fair enough, however based on what I said about roughly 95 bopd being roughly a free cash element even with the current 70% payments, I think you would have to admit that your portrayal of the company struggling through winter with a trickle of oil to provide a lifeline is false.

70% of 350 is 245.

The company needs roughly 150 bopd at around today's oil price in order to break even. So roughly 95 bopd is free cash.

Not sure why you are spreading disinformation Pilsbury.

Pilsbury talks about " a trickle of life saving cashflow over winter " when in fact even the 70% payments for 350bopd gives some free cash flow.

Surely the government is also having its PSC cut withheld because of what PC have been doing ? I presume the PSC part of the withheld 30% hasn't yet been paid ?

Of course a lot depends on what you feed into AI in order to get your answer. Frontera clearly forgot to mention that 3D seismic data has been done for the Heron portion of block 20. And the company has said several times that the geology for H1 and H2 is the same. Plus part of PC's block 19 is already producing successfully from the same reservoir.
