Luta ; "The SP doesn't reflect the intrinsic value of the company or factor in the projected SP appreciation going forward - essentially just transient, trader biased movement atm but not for long i suspect."
A weird thing happens on my phone - if the signal isn't good enough when I go into the LSE site, it brings up a page from 11th March 2024. This was more than two months before the late May RNS announced that the local access consent had been finally granted. On that day the share price soared to 5.3p.
It's interesting to see the situation back then on 11/03/24 ;
- bid was 3.8p and the ask 3.90p
- mcap was £42.88m
- float was 1.11b.
- bought value on the day - £5,03k. Sold value - nil.
I can only see a few posts on that day, but Doc was busy making cynical remarks about the share price and the likelihood of MATD ever obtaining the LP. Cybertron was very anxious about it being granted. Back then, the chat was totally dominated by the LP consent situation.
So in March 2024 the company still had no legal access to Heron. It had no production and no revenue. And it was running out of money fast - another raise was done in early June at 2p. There were no renewables in the pipeline then either.
I know that the float was lower back then, however bizarrely, the share price has been generally much weaker since the company has become a producer rather than just an explorer which at the time didn't have the correct legal permissions in place. It had been waiting since the exploitation licence had been granted in July 2021. Very weird.....
