Hamm tends to live in a dream works I'm afraid - there's no rhyme or reason to the share prices he comes up with, just emotion. It's too easy to fall in love with one company.

Having said that, I notice that you haven't factored in anything from the renewables side - don't underestimate that.

Significant re rates ( rather than temporary spikes ) are caused by one thing - a realisation that a company's revenue will significantly increase in the near future. What a share price will increase by is hard to predict - I don't like to just pluck numbers out of my head. If the price suddenly starts shooting up then it's good to keep an eye on previous resistance levels.

Resistance levels matter because traders watch them on their screens, and also bexause some will be locked in around those levels. So someone who bought in around 5p on the day that the LP was announced for example may be just waiting to break even again, and may decide to sell if and when it returns to that price. The more entrenched a resistance level has been, the more you will get people locked in at those levels. 2.5p is a significant one.

Yes, the refinery being ready in 2027 will only have increased the urgency of either a farm out or a buy out of block XX.

Soco sold block 1XX in 2005 for around 150m USD, adjusted for inflation after only producing 350 bopd from 27 wells. After the Gazelle result alone we should be producing more than that. 250m would be a decent result if it is sold. And then on to block V11.

Reading through notpleb's previous posts, all he ever talks about is Wos, and the supposed new accounts which he has created. Nothing much ever about the actual company, its fundamentals or its prospects. Possibly another 198/ doc account.

I think it's obvious that the company has been sabotaged ;

- - the paid activists..

- - the governor who refused to sign the tripartite agreement, and held everything up for 3 years.

- the strange results that DQE seemed to come up with. Notably Gazelle so far.

- the huge delay in PC signing the sales agreement contract.

- the delays in PC making the payments.

- the totally unjustified 30% subtractions FR m the payments, which the government has verified were spurious " concerns. "

I notice on the OMI board that they are having similar problems, with a load of disruptors and bashers having recently moved in now that the company is making significant progress.

It seems to be what happens on this site.

Fortunately some of us have filtered the main resident troll, and therefore couldn't give a stuff what he wastes his time writing about.

Not sure it's worth bashing the company's prospects for that kind of scale of trading, but there you go....

KevinRound ; there are no MATD shares available to borrow if you understood shorting. Usually there aren't with microcaps, as the banks behind the brokers don' t like the risk, so won't let the broker offer them.

You would have to use CFDs or spread betting to short.

The commission to your broker isn't your biggest problem - it's the spread. In other words the ' commission ' that you pay to the MMs, nott your broker.

Basic stuff.

KevinRound; if you are genuine ( I'm not sure of that ) then it's obvious that you are in the wrong game. You would be better off just looking for trending mid or large cap companies - microcap price action is by its very nature highly volatile in terms of price action.

Pretty well all the aim star performers that I have noticed in the last year or so have tended to have one thing in common - prior to the recoveries in their price action they all had precipitous falls, with many flatlining near the bottom for many months. So IMO to say that you don't trust the MATD price action just indicates a lack of awareness of microcaps in general.

In fact he would have lost money due to his commission fees.

KevinRound talking on another board about how he missed out a 10% move with MATD last Friday, and how he should have dipped in and out.

I'm not sure that he's figured out yet that if a spread in a microcap is say 5% then he would only break even to buy and sell in just a day or two....Doh. I've seen some horrendous spreads with a few Aim shares recently. One of the worst has been ORCP.

Contrary to popular opinion, negs and paid trolls on boards like this don't influence a share price. It raised at 0.8p because MB did a deal with a forward selling institution which required a huge discount on whatever the share price was when they made the agreement. We don't know exactly when it was agreed, as very likely the shares had all been sold by the time the raise was announced.

This is why the company needs to avoid any future raises.

And I agree about untempered pumping. I well remember Hamm's " 15p on LP, 40p on production " comments in early 2024. Who would have thought though that 8 or 9 months after production started it would have hit a low of 0.69p was it at one stage right at the beginning of the investor presentation?

That's why I tend to be very wary and cautious of price predictions. All I will ever do is point out previous resistance levels as can be seen clearly on a daily chart going back 10 years or so.
