RE: MATD About to MULTIBAG!!16 Sep 2024 17:21
Gigi ; instead of just overt ramping ( we get plenty of that from WOS ) maybe give your detailed take on likely profit based on a realistic scenario of barrels per day for Heron 1 and then Heron 2, together with a proper factoring in of all the relevant deductions, and of course factoring into your calculations the current price of oil.
And then look at the current market cap ( 35m GBP ) and explain how a significant re-rate of the current market cap will be justified by the likely profit, and all based on the assumption of course that Heron 1 will receive its permit, a reasonable deal with PC will be agreed and that Heron 2 will turn out to produce a decent no of barrels per day.
I'm just curious to see how you do your calculations for the ' multi bagger fever ' that you and WOS share. We can leave Gobi out of it for now, as we wont know whether that is a duster or not for a while - obviously there was major excitement about Velociraptor at the time aftter it spudded, and that turned out to be a duster, so the record of PM's wildcats is not great. You said that you are a ' business student ' so these calculations will no doubt help you with your studies.... and will also give more weight to your unsubtle ramping.
Oh, and a ' significant re-rate ' doesn't mean a large spike which lasts a day or two before the price massively tanks...It means a stable and enduring share price re-rate which can hold going forwards. Not a ' sucker's rally ' engineered by the trading desks following a positive RNS.
And whilst you're about it, maybe explain how that price action on the 10th July last year happened. That's the day that the share price spiked right down to 1.8p at 8am ( after finishing at 3.5p the day before ) following a 7am positive RNS, then rapidly shot up to 6.4p on the same day, and then tanked back to about 4p just a couple of weeks later. It was all down to rapidly changing fundamentals I presume ? LOL.
