Stas - a number of dodgy Chinese companies have been accepted onto Nasdaq , many of which have then turned out to be pump and dump scams. Nasdaq are investigating some of them...

IMO a relisting on Nasdaq would do far more for the share price than a billion times all the ' positive ' waffle on this board could ever do. Not that the waffle impacts in any way on the share price if you're a thinking person....

Funny how WOS has never spelt 'Miton ' correctly with all that diligent research which he is always telling us that he does...And funny how he has been holding on to this like a man in the sea clinging on to a life raft in order to explain the recent waves of selling which have been going on.

On the Miton website Matd is not even mentioned in their list of holdings. If they bought in on the second to last raise then very likely they got rid of much of it during the 6.5p and 7p spikes last year. Any redemptions right now must be tiny, and will be caused by Reeves scrapping the inheritance tax break on AIM investment in today's budget. I can't see how this can account for the selling pressure in recent months though. It doesn't add up for me.

I posted this yesterday evening down below. It's not just the share and the fundamentals that we should be thinking about - but also the exchange that this company is listed on. We really need to relist on Nasdaq - every day I see micro cap Nasdaq shares making huge leaps in their share price after a news catalyst. There is simply much more investment capital going into the US markets - AIM is a lame duck.

I just love the self importance of some people who truly believe that what they write on here will have any material effect on the share price. It's pure delusion. Yet the hold on to that belief as devoutly as any religious fanatic....

Overner ; I think that people have a pretty inflated opinion of themselves if they really believe that what they write on this board will impact on the share price.

Proquo ; the spending taps had already been on full flow since 2001 when the subprime crisis hit. Plus lax regulation ( through City deregulation ) of bank and building society fractional reserve lending allowed us to be hit hard by this banking crisis. As chancellor he allowed the fractional reserve ratios to get totally out of hand - hence the Northern Rock and RBS crises. RBS invested millions into the subprime mortgage markets - it wasn't a problem that just washed up on our shores.

And this was the Brown who sold of most of the country's gold right at the bottom....

And anyway, how many Labour people take into account the Covid crisis or the Ukraine war when talking about the Tory record of the last 14 years ? Those were world crises which were both genuinely out of the government's hands.

In fact it was Blair's Labour which took a 350 billion national debt in 1997 and turned into nearly 1 trillion by the time that they were kicked out of power. To get to £350 billion by the way had taken some 309 years from 1692 until 2001 which is the year that Labour started to borrow heavily. In that 309 years we paid for involvement in two world wars... Labour virtually trebled that 350 billion national debt in just 9 years....This is the period from which Britain's debt issues really date from, and frankly it will never ever be possible to pay back the national debt - we can only manage the interest payments on it as best we can.

And as for the Truss budget - in fact all this showed is that when a country gets massively in debt to the bond markets, then the bond markets can easily get scared and demand higher interest rates. In effect national finances come under the ultimate control of the nation's creditors. It's just the same as how your finances would come mainly under the control of your creditors if you wracked up huge unsecured debts and struggled to pay them back. If Reeves spooks the bond markets in this budget then exactly the same thing will happen, because that's the price of building up a huge national debt and having huge interest liabilities.

This country hasn't run a surplus since 2001. The talk about austerity what total rubbish - successive UK governments have been spending more than they bring in for 23 years now. And how do you think that we pay for the huge interest on the national debt which was £102 billion last year given that we are running a deficit every year ? That's right, we sell more bonds in bond auctions ......Its a bit of a Ponzi scheme.

So satisfying to see lots and lots of blue boxes with the words ' this message has been filtered.' Saves me wasting time reading lots of BS.

Adw and researchandhold ; PM's Jerry made it very clear in the investor presentation that $1.5 is the cost to drill a hole only. $4.5m is to fully develop the well, which includes that cost of drilling the hole.

What a bloody cheek ! And what blind ignorance as well.

In fact I started showing faith in this company way back in August 2019 with the first of what have turned out to be 15 tranches of buys over that 5 years and two months. During nearly all that period I carried on showing faith in the company despite it having no legal access to the land whatsoever - the vote by the district committee in favour of granting land access was in summer of this year. Up to that point the company was severely at risk of going bust, taking my sizeable investment with it.

I repeat again, if it wasn't for people like me, and other true long term holders, there would be no company to get all excited about right now. Imagine how the LTHs must feel about some johnny come latelys who are now licking their lips at the prospects of share appreciation, but who have only until very recently felt that the company is worth taking a risk on with their hard earned cash. Where were they in what MB called in the investor presentation ' the company's darkest days ? ' MB mentioned in this presentation how Petrovis had stood by PM in those dark days, but he could just as easily have included long term investors such as me as well.

So imagine how myself ( and no doubt many other LTHs ) feel to then hear jumped up little narcissists such as abzzba or Ten blagger talk down to use and refer to us as ' lowlife. ' I know who the lowlife is - and that this lowlife has recently crawled from under their stones now that they think that all the risk has been removed from investing in this company, and licking their lips with greed, whilst sneering at the people who helped keep this company afloat for many years. Actually I would call them opportunist parasites.

Abbzba ; maybe the long term investors who like me have been here for 5 years or more might label the Johnny come latelys who have not endured the years of continual frustrations and raises - but now want a piece of the action - opportunistic virtue signalling parasites ?

How long have you held Matd shares exactly ?

Espen - on Nasdaq yesterday Monopar Therapeutics ( a biotech $59m small cap ) went from $5 on the 9.30am open to $32 by 15.30 eastern time. The news catalyst was a licencing deal for a drug worldwide.

That's what I call a proper move on a milestone news catalyst ! It puts Matd's price action in perspective....

No doubt any shorting on the day of an RNS with ' positive news ' is down to traders taking advantage of the naivety of some retail investors who are convinced that ' good news ' must instantly cause an upward surge in the share price - because that's how it works doesn't it ? People like Hamm for example, who is always urging people to buy on an RNS release - often calling it a ' no-brainer ' etc.
