Thornogson ; those sells had to come from somewhere. Someone owned those shares. If there is no volume then the MMs can just mark the price down anyway without selling shares from their inventories.

Can anybody try to explain where these 500k share sells come from every day ? No LTHs are likely to be selling right now - most are locked in at much higher entry prices. And Petrovis aren't selling at these levels either. And there hasn't been enough price movement recently for traders to be piling in and out.

For me it can only be one of two things - either the MMs flipping shares, or an entity trying to suppress the share price with strategic sell orders executed in nice rounded numbers of 300k, 400k, 500k etc.

Pompeyman ; there is some kind of brake on this share price right now, and it is weird.

I would be very happy with 10p a share - I've been here since August 2019 with nothing to show for it thus far !

Velo ; MB has something like 15m shares doesn't he ? I think someone said his average may be around 2.5p.

I can't see him exactly wanting to give Heron away for a song either.

This would also explain why the price action has changed so much in comparison with the years prior to the company being granted the access permission to the land. It's been very subdued for about 9 months now compared to the frequent spikes and generally far more lively price action in previous years. And twice now this year there has been heavy selling in response to the price going above 2p....

Ever since last Sept or October there has been a consistent pattern of selling going on in neat rounded numbers which looks like strategic targeting. It's started again this afternoon. Makes me wonder if some entity bought in heavily on the last raise in June 2024 so that they could use them to strategically keep a brake on the share price.

If you hold a large number of shares then you are able to provide drip feed supply to the market if you want to do this for some reason or other.

Here we go again - a sudden batch of sell orders.

WOS ; do yourself a favour and stop reading what they post. That way you are just playing into their hands. Especially if what they post gets you needled and angry with them.

Their posts only have power if people read and react to them. And the more angry you get with them and the more you react to them, the more they like it. All trolls are like that.

So now do the opposite - filter them ! !

Dozzawba ; unfortunately people such as WOS still don't seem able to resist replying to the trolls. I wish he and a few others would just green box them, as through maintaining dialogues with them they are giving them exactly what they want.

I know that WOS and others are doing it with the best of motives - ie to correct their factual inaccuracies ( lies ) and to put forward the real facts, however in reality all this does it to encourage them to keep posting on the board - they want to annoy and goad people, and to get reactions from this flow of needling, cynicism and sarcasm. What would annoy them the most would be to totally ignored so that they are made irrelevant.

There's no doubt that a lot of short term trading goes on with micro caps due to the price volatility. And with stocks valued at only a few pence, the % gains or losses are larger.

And if the MMs are consistently flipping shares, then they provide the liquidity when they sell for the short term traders to buy. That's why I think you still see these blocks of 300, 400 or 500k sells coming in on most days. That's been going on for months, however most shares in circulation are in the sticky hands of either Petrovis or LTHs, whilst the rest are just rapidly changing hands between the traders and the MMs as they flip shares. That's my take on what's been going on at the moment.

Thorno ; I was thinking yesterday that there is no such thing as a team of analysts working at the MMs ( who set the share price ) sitting at their desks constantly analysing the correct value of a load of AIM micro caps. The share price is just set at what the MMs think the market will take based on supply and demand. It's only straight after an RNS that the volume suddenly spikes, and some of that is of course short term trading. And I do suspect that the MMs are flipping shares - that's the benefit of a largish spread for them, given that they can buy on the ask.

And I agree that it's best to not even refer to him. Therefore that's the last comment that I will make about him.

Has that Adw person been posting right up into the early hours again last night ? He seems to have a serious OCD problem. I'm not sure if he's just hyper obsessive or unhinged, or both. Does he have a job to go to ? Or maybe this is his job....

Talking about crazy, I was just thinking how crazy it is that a year ago the share price was 3.10p. This was before the local access consent had been granted, so nobody knew back then whether PM could ever start work on Heron. There was also no special purpose 25 year licence granted, and no infrastructure built on H1. And of course no oil being extracted and no agreement in place with PC. And Sunsteppe hadn't moved on as far as it has now.

At the end of the day, there are no analysts sitting at the market makers deciding on what true value should be based on fundamentals. It's simply all down to supply and demand, and normally daily volume is very low relatively speaking with other companies. And quite a lot of the daily volume is short term trading, including I suspect the MMs using the large spread to simply flip shares - buying on the bid and selling on the ask. Why otherwise would there be some 500k sells on most days ? No medium or LTHs are likely to be selling right now.

That's AIM for you - not an index that I like at all.

And even the biggest pessimist would have to admit that if there was a buyout of Heron it would significantly move the share price upwards.

Judging by your response to him, it sounds like he's been spreading more factually inaccurate info/lies. He does this just to trigger people, and by responding to him you allow him to win.

Roxy ; I think that some people just don't have the self discipline to ignore them. They get drawn in very easily if they allow themselves to be triggered, and IMO some are triggered far too easily. No names mentioned....

When yuou think about it, the really telling thing about the trolls is that they never ever seem to green box other people. This is because if they do this then they are cutting themselves off from someone that they can get a reaction from. They want to annoy people, goad them and make sarcastic and mocking remarks to them. They want to lure people into useless " debates " in which the same ( often incorrect ) points are regurgitated over and over ad infinitum. To green box anybody would reduce their target audience, and cut off their oxygen supply, so naturally they never do it.
