It shocked me to learn how many people who are buying (leasing) cars just for the badge, yet live from hand to mouth. one glitch in their life and it will all come tumbling down. Shocking. There was this other women at work (I worked with about 18 women). She (mid 30yr old) flung the door open into the office one day and announced 'I had the Audi all to myself today' - in the most flamboyant fashion- no one had even acknowledge her arrived (normally she gave her mum a lift to work - hence all to her self) ,,, 2 months later it went for an MOT and he face was like thunder because it need new brakes and tyres and the cost was a fortune.

@NW-Dude , I bought a jackery and some panels for the garden - I’m hoping to move soon - so want to take it with me. Im just in the process of moving to utilita - who only charge for what you use (be it a very high tariff)- I only have the fridge on the mains 200watts per day (£40 a year). I'm a bit of what some might call hippy .

I probably need to book a session with the vicar too - confessions; There is this mad ,sour faced bint at work - who constantly brags about her possessions; 'we've got a beach hut' , 'we've got a new (second hand) car' - you know the sort - ordinary working /middle class person who lives in a semi - nowt special , and nowt wrong with it. She thinks cos I dress like a tramp that Im poor (I presume)

the other day - I 'd had enough - when she said 'we've got an apple mac' - so with my trading account open on screen ; I asked ' d'ya think I could afford one of them ?' ,,,,lol the lemon sucking was wonderful. I was tempted to mention BernieBalingo – the self made RR multi million – but I thought I’d done enough damage to her ego LOL

I think I need to book some therapy sessions, I’m honestly over the moon for people who made a mint with rolls Royce ,, but reading how you are spending your money so freely makes my bum twitch, I wish I could spend so easily LOL.

That said - I did buy a couple of solar panels and a battery bank the other day - spent some RR money using my RR glassses - I calculate it will pay for itself in 1.5 years and means I stop given the elecy company £1 standing charge each day. other than that I bought a shirt from a charity shop. I really need some lessons on spending (I’ve spent too long of my life being a saver,,,, and yorkshire) :)

I think there are bubbles everywhere, and that’s not due to the large amount of LSD consumed last night. More money has been printed since 2007 than you can shake a stick at - it all needs to find a home. It floats upward and becomes lodged. The UK stock market was un-loved until last year - so having a predominately UK focused portfolio myself - I don’t fear the reaper .
