Whole sale electric and Gas prices per KWh were 50p and 60p respectively in 2023 at the peak. You can be sure that they will be much higher this winter - July is the next OFCOM price cap date , followed by October.

Speaking with a BG representative last week , he told me people are often being ‘fooled’ by this April price drop (which is based on oct-dec 2025 figures)– and as such not fixing/locking into long term contracts.

Up until last week (Friday)- I'd been swapping my ISA chunk and sticking it everywhere between RR and Miners. I took the whole lot out and for the last week - just been sat pretty (ugly) ; best thing I did - seeing this market and situation , i'm happy to hold cash. I cant see a way out for his ego at present. Luckily this is his last couple of months before the Americans vote on the mid terms- might tie his hands for the remainder of his tenure.

I said last week that ; That I feared this could see £10+,,, I know nothing for fact , but seems I might be right. It will recover- but how long it will take is anyone's guess (keep the faith - to quote shareflyer)

NB - i left me non-isa invested - pointless taking that out and having to pay CGT on it (Im not donating a penny to those boat people) - So I do want it to recover and as soon as possible, its my pension.

I once romanticised about going on a cruise ,, when I was about 8 years old and watching 'journey to the centre of the earth'. Growing up i've noticed that there is a certain type who go on cruises - and they are generally crass, boring , have never grown up with money and spend all their time trying to brag about them self. I see from Ars3nals journal on here that he was so excited to make 3K trading BP in one week during covid - Try beat that if you can - he's an trader extraordinaire !

Clear evidence if ever needed that both labour and conservative have been an absolute shambles for this country in one way or another. far too busy handing out free money to every hard-luck story which rocks up on these shores or already within.

@bigtimebilly, Thanks for the clarification - we do like to help on here and I think there has been crossed wires. I see your issue now - you stock is outside your ISA and your problem is that it is taking ages to move it into the ISA.
