That ETF you bought GJGB - is the junior miners; doing very well indeed well done. I bought that and GDGB too for my pension - which is the bigger miners.

I don't know what profit you'll get if a Junior is bought out by a bigger fish - hopefully a nice pay day .? - do you know how that might work ??

LTH (Long term holders) come on to this chat board. Its an honest question. If I was a long term holder in a stock such as RR (such as gsk - which I also hold) - I would get all the news I need from mainstream media and not the chat forum, I wouldn’t be looking every day (I don’t with GSK) , and I certainly wouldn’t be coming on the forum just to point out to everyone that I'm a long term holder. I can understand why people who trade daily - like badlands , might come on here - its there work place and a little chitter chat is good for them while they work. But a long term holder - i'd have thought - wouldn’t be interested in chitter chatter. (or so they keep stressing on here). So why come on here ?? I’m confused ????? Is it only so that they can tell the world that they are a LTH and not interested in chitter chatter. It’s rather like Harry and his wife claiming that they want their privacy – all the while publishing books about them selves and trying as hard as they can to get in the spot light. :)

I never get jealous about how much money people have made, but I do get jealous (and admire) their skills, knowledge , ability to make such money - I wish I had those skills and knowledge,, and in the case of badlands- the balls he must have to get up every day and carry on day trading when things get ugly (throwing money to cover shorts). Well done all, rite back to fitting this starter motor on the car.

This is a strange email to send, but I just wanted to say - that after using your website for nearly 20 years - I love the fact that it is still fast, responsive and meets the needs like the day I first registered.

Why would I send you such an email - well too many website go through constant redesign , often costing large amounts of money - yet the end result is no better than the original site.

The functionality of your site is great ,fast responsive and logical.

The fact that things don't keep moving around the page - being relocated - means I don't have to learn new ways; and can instead focus on the task at hand

Clear design - everything is where you would expect it

Not over the top CSS - which would slow the render of the page down.

The upshot - if your team are thinking of coming up with a new design - which companies do from time to time - please don't. It's great as it is .

HSBC went through a redesign about 13 years ago - and oh my word - I had to upgrade my whole computer just to be able to access it - what a pain. Ebay, Amazon etc have all redesigned too , and the end result is a website that is so slow and demanding that it has become a pain to use.

Again , I apologise for a strange email - but I just want you to know that you don't need to spend any money on changing things. :)

i use opera with the adblocker plugin - works a treat. my computer is a 12 year old atom processor with 4gb ram - and the site runs well. you'd have thought with all the brass i've made with rolls royce that i'd upgrade - but i can't be arsed to move away from windows 7 32bit - all my devices (printer etc) wouldn’t work with a 64 bit windows 11 ****e - so windows 7 it is

i’ve been away /busy for a few days – and just catching up on posts here, i read many boards on this site but only really comment on this one. it’s the biggest bunch of rag tag team of degenerates i’ve ever come across - and i love it . its my home , like slipping your feet into a warm pair of comfy slippers after a ****e day at work. :)

It has had work done, Infact I had a new (recon) gear box last year at 165K but its never broken down and left me stranded like this. It also needed a new flex hose on the exhuast last year, and cam belts every 60K, and of course brake pads and tyres over the years. But other than that - its been great.
