I think MMs are playing games here, not sure this is anything other than false rumours and trying to get some shares to fill an order
think its retreating now, was just offered £40k worth of shares @ 31.25p
There is stock, i just got a quote for £10k @ 32.5 p
What do we think? an imminent RNS, a leak or just MMs messing with the SP??
Have another £100k i can throw into this on top of my already significant holding, but i resisted, starting to wish maybe i hadnt!
Im glad i've not been on this board since last week. I'm holding a significant number of shares in a growth company and medium to long term the SP IMO will rise significantly. Can you name many other companies generating this much revenue and profit? Not even ASOS can manage it. Is this going to radically change due to the slavery stuff, no.
The slavery stuff will blow over, people will get bored of it and Boohoo have already committed to doing there part to fix it, despite no one else stepping up (like the government for example).
The de-rampers here are just trying to lower the price and steal some shares - its so silly and obvious. Do your own research and stop listening to many of the idiots here. And stop watching the SP every 5 mins, just hold onto these for 12 months and then check.
Im a very significant amount in profit, not top slicing or selling a dime, holding for the bigger prize in the years to come. This has worked really well for me over the years and this is clear growth share.
This is all said with transparency and without any intent to mislead anyone. Its my opinion based on research and wish everyone a successful investment.
Cant help but feel that some people have misunderstood the context here.
The SP can't move up to match what we think the sale price will be. Why? A number of obvious reasons : i) The sale could fall through ii) be delayed iii) could sell for less than what we think (or the opposite) etc etc. The SP cant move up significantly until something is confirmed one way or another, so the market will continue playing the share and MMs will make some ££.
So whilst we all patiently wait for the RNS confirming a bid (and it is coming, but if not imminently I'm happy to wait it out), the SP will continue to fluctuate - this is normal. Whether is 30p, 25p, 20p, 18p, 35p, 36p etc etc, is irrelevant if you believe that the company is being sold for more that £1b - which i do based on my research and reviewing what others have researched.
The SP just now becomes more relevant to those that are day trading this share, but honestly i dont understand why anyone would. This is a hold until sale scenario. If it doesn't sell or is delayed, then its still a hold until it sells later or we do a JV/mine it our self (unlikely). Either way its worth more than the current SP.
So whether you are ramping or de-ramping, everyone is here to make money and we have all signed up for the risk profile that comes with holding this until a sale happens.
Let him have a guess, lets be honest everyone else is doing the same. No one truly knows what it will sell for, regardless of what's in the ground, its only worth what someone is willing to pay!
And if doing a basic multiplication somehow validates and supports his guess, then to be honest you need to wake up
I see a lot of "We have $130b in the ground, we take 10% so that's $13b, so multiply that by etc etc gives you a SP of £3, £4 and so on"
For me that's still guesswork! So Eddie is entitled to say 50 p if he wants.
I think the SP is going to be £20, why? because we will get 50% of $130bn, so that equal £1b blah blah blah
@ _benhouse - because nothing is ever guaranteed, there is risk with everything.
The sale could collapse, so the SP cant be overly inflated.
With this one though, the risk IMO is lower and everything pointing towards a sale. Nonetheless, you cant make the SP £1 based on a potential sale
sorry if this has been covered already, to many messages to keep up with!
Came accross this article from Feb 2020 that sibanye-stillwater are looking to pull the trigger on a 4-5bn takeover in 6-9 months, the timescales match up with our sale
Could this be the mystery buyer? thoughts?
You can google sibanye-stillwater takeover and you will see the article titled "Sibanye-Stillwater to “pull trigger” on $4bn to $5bn takeover in nine months: Froneman"

Am I missing something, are folk nervous that a sale won't transpire or are they desperate to take out profit?
It's pretty obvious something is imminent so just be patient and hold, any sale will be more than the current SP surely
thanks wkworld
I dont trust Mms and IMO it's not black and white whether something illegal happens or not - I don't know the inner workings but I do believe that Mms have a strong network and know much more than us, and well before us in some situations
it's a murky world with AIM and nothing surprises me, that's based on my experience trading and investing on other stocks in Aim.
Again all IMO and everyone is entitled to their own.
If this goes for a £10b sale, no one will be happier than me, that would be me paying of my huracan or buying a 911 turbo s to sit beside it :)
thanks geckolovesgreed
no such thing as a stupid question. There are ppl here from all sorts of backgrounds, some more experienced than others.
Find away to help and educate them and give something back, rather than shut them down and be nasty.
That's all I'm saying
Fair point wkworld
Look - I'm not a deramper but I hate how ppl can't have opinions and viewpoints for discussion
What I find is, that as long as it's someone ramping about EUA then it's ok to say what you want here without backing it up. Several examples today alone and i dont see anyone shutting them down, why is that? It's because they support your narrative that this is going to be big. Others are very detailed and do supply data to back opinions (like rowka) but many do not. And that's ok.
I just prefer to be more balanced until something formal is announced.
All too often on these boards ppl get carried away and suggest all sorts of ludicrous things.
Like I said I have many shares here now (more than most) and would be happy with the most we can get.
I'm in this all the way and want as much as we can get
But why is the SP 22p? surely the Mms have contacts in UBS etc and can get access to info, maybe they know the sale price is alot lower than we all think? Is that a possi me scenario?
it's one thing having over £100b of resources, it's another mining it etc.
I'm ever the optimist but cant see us selling for close to £10b.
Lots of work and costs involved for whoever buys the assets, no idea what this will sell for but would be surprised it was any higher than £2b.
but what do I know eh
Question for those much smarter than myself, what's the conversion SP for the different sale prices. I.e.
£1b sale = £x SP
£2b sale = £x SP
etc etc, is there an easy multiple ppl are applying that's fairly reliable?
Thanks
I've always said this and will say it again. If you can leave your investment and come back later. This share will go above £4 - and then £5 and over the next few years closer to £10 (that's my personal opinion)
Always a risk, and things can happen but I'm holding for a while.
Lots of idiots here saying random crap, DYOR and believe nothing, especially the ones that say stuff like 'BOOM, this is gonna fly, you wouldn't want to be out of this' etc etc. They have an agenda and tbh are almost always wrong.
Stick to your own research and logic and come here for tips that you can then take forward to research yourself.
BOO is a very profitable business and that won't stop anytime soon, it will grow at different rates but will grow. It's already more profitable than ASOS!! think about that for a minute -
Sounds like a sale is pending for sure, that's how I read it. As others have said, you would not appoint all those advisors if things are not far along.
Any guesses for the sale price? :)
Is it still worth coming in here? seems I missed things. What are people's projections and why?
Have a spare £10k to invest
Thank you
