Cant help but feel that some people have misunderstood the context here.
The SP can't move up to match what we think the sale price will be. Why? A number of obvious reasons : i) The sale could fall through ii) be delayed iii) could sell for less than what we think (or the opposite) etc etc. The SP cant move up significantly until something is confirmed one way or another, so the market will continue playing the share and MMs will make some ££.
So whilst we all patiently wait for the RNS confirming a bid (and it is coming, but if not imminently I'm happy to wait it out), the SP will continue to fluctuate - this is normal. Whether is 30p, 25p, 20p, 18p, 35p, 36p etc etc, is irrelevant if you believe that the company is being sold for more that £1b - which i do based on my research and reviewing what others have researched.
The SP just now becomes more relevant to those that are day trading this share, but honestly i dont understand why anyone would. This is a hold until sale scenario. If it doesn't sell or is delayed, then its still a hold until it sells later or we do a JV/mine it our self (unlikely). Either way its worth more than the current SP.
So whether you are ramping or de-ramping, everyone is here to make money and we have all signed up for the risk profile that comes with holding this until a sale happens.
