Slightly off topic. What is a 'green boxer'?

I know - when I pointed out the same thing a couple of Fridays ago I was attacked as being a deramper and a 'green boxer' whatever that is.

The funny thing is the price went up last Monday despite the dilution!

Also the dilution ought to be priced in as the RNS makes no secret of the hundreds of millions of share warrants to be exercised. I suppose many don't read them.

The share price was at 54p. Now it is 20p. What will it be when the warrant holders try to sell some of the 50+ million shares they bought for 2p. Last Monday the market absorbed a quarter as many shares (12 million). They did the same thing the week before. The week before the SP fell off a cliff when the first warrants came in. So whether the share is up or down depends on when you bought!! If you bought on Tues you are up. If you bought 3 weeks ago you are very much down. If you bought warrants at 2p in January you are 10x in profit at the moment but may get less when you try to sell. It is probably best to trickle them out in blocks? Or if they really think there is metal to be mined they won't sell at all and will wait for £5. But they can't sit on the option to exercise the warrants for ever under the terms of the deal

Why will you sell if it hits 16p Steve? Why don't you think it will go further? Not 3 billion of assets in the ground, a lack of money to exploit those assets or a dilution of share price in the next few months because of the warrants? Or some other reason? Cheers Itd

I was responding to Laura who said she had sold. I was being ironic re the 1000% profit that others are quoting from the adverts. If she thinks the share will soar - why sell after a few percentage points. I know the answer. She is dipping in and out making a quick profit as people keep getting the ads.

LSE say they will remove misleading ads.

That's great. You don't think there is a chance of 1,000% profit then - or any potential with some metal coming out of the ground?

I'm not saying it will or won't. I have absolutely no idea whether there is a lot of valuable and exploitable minerals in the areas that Met1 has bought licence for. Or whether Met1 has enough money to progress things. A small warning bell rings in my head regarding the licences. They bought them for a few hundred thousand pounds - so the seller thought that was a fair price. So if the seller thought it was a fair price why is Met1 valued at tens of millions of pounds more now. If you can shed any light?

Is this new info? I have seen all the RNS material from the past but saw Castlepaul's post about the SP rise this morning with the word Finland under it I took this to mean that there was new info coming out re test drilling in Finland as opposed to Norway or USA.

Have you seen any fresh info?

That's right. I have had TW shares and ITV for decades, Lloyds, GSK, several on AIM too 15 years ago but don't feel the need to comment...usually. But I recently bought Met1. I have been disgusted by the adverts purporting to be news items which have successfully blown the proce up to 50p+ while, all the time, hundreds of millions of 2p warrants are waiting to be exercised. I have nothing to hide.

Sorry to hear that you are down. 10k at 16p. It'll probably be a bit lower on Monday opening with the 12,400,000 2p warrants washing into the mix. They'll want to sell some of those I imagine. But luckily it's only a small tranche of the total so could have been worse.

Fair enough re not investing on Aim. You still know more than I do about its workings or failure to work. I did invest in some small AIM businesses about 15 years ago. It wasn't a great success. One was a green enterprise that went belly up. Another made cartoons and did quite well. I forget the others. I got interested in Met1 after a friend, who invests in all kinds of shares across the board suggested it was one to buy and forget about and wait long term. He must have been sucked in by the hype. Due to his recommendation I didn't do enough reading so really only have myself to blame.
