We only need to look at your posts to see that you're losing money hand over fist or maybe not investing at all and just trying to keep the dream alive for others to keep buying so warrant holders make even more from those willing to believe these shares can defy the inevitable and go up when a bucket load of cold water in the form of 50 million

or so 2p shares gets dumped on the embers every week

I'm with Twohits on this. The point of a forum should be to share information. Coming on and saying "I think it's going to be a blue day" with no back up facts or reasons it's boring crud I keep having to scroll through. But info about warrants being exercised etc is true, factual and useful to baby seals who can read!

It is quite telling that a warrant holder was happy to unload 25 million shares for £2 million when the SP was 7p. The warrant holders would/will have more knowledge than most about the way Met1 was going to operate and how it is doing I would have thought. This seller has made a massive profit of 3.5 X their investment. But a few weeks ago it was 27x and a handful of days ago it was 10x. These are not small differences at this scale. A 1p difference in the share price is a quarter of a million pounds for this seller

They clearly think Met1 isn't going to rocket!

A lot of people are upset that posters keep pointing out that this huge warrant cloud is hanging over Met1 but people keep coming on the board saying how the share will soar...

I am NOT knowledgeable re this so this is more of a question than a statement. I believe market makers can and do sometimes buy shares at a lower price to provide liquidity to the market. They can reduce the SP accordingly and sell the shares into the market more gradually? So a 2 million share sale posted on Friday...has it always been sold on to another holder or could it still, at least partially, be sitting with an MM?

I have lost some money on this share but I reckon I have had my money's worth reading this share chat. It is hilarious.

Luckily I don't have any influence on my pension and isas, just a SIPP and the former are much bigger and hugely up and far outweigh my mess ups. I have invested in a few good companies - Lloyds, ITV (with a 20% discount) traded GSK a few times, Taylor Wimpey - but had some spectacular failures - Superdry was the worst.

By the way my reference to "oh no is there no end to this drop" was very much tongue in cheek and was written in response to the constant claims the stock is about to soar. It may soar, but not because of any substantial news as far as I can see.

It could go below 7p or it might go to 15p. It's a roulette wheel. People keep saying how it will soar the next day and it goes down. Eventually they'll be right. Like a stuck clock they'll be right in time. And won't they let everyone know it. Even another 14% drop today is turned into a spectacular climb because it recovered from an even greater drop. You might as well put your money on the horses!

I always call it wrong on these gambles so I don't suppose it will get down towards February's 2.25p price again. But I'm watching in case there is any positive news. Good luck

I have to be careful replying to you as apparently I am talking to myself! 🤣Extraordinary. For what it's worth I might and sold and made a loss and, realising what this share currently is thought I would try to trade it to get my money back. I traded it a few times and managed to be quite unsuccessful making my irritating loss slightly more painful. One trade was successful. Crazy as it sounds not once did I try to promote the share when I was in because I haven't seen anything positive to say about it yet.

Now I am fascinated by it, rather like a rabbit caught in the headlights of a car! Luckily I won't be run over as I don't have any shares.

It is possible the survey work will find something worth removing from the ground or tailings and the company will either sell their rights or dig themselves. I have no idea. I am speculating about the speculators. So. Although the assets are worth what the company owns, there is an unknown and that, might be worth something. But I am thinking aloud. I have no knowledge.

Anyway off to write my more interesting posts as my alter ego! (that is a joke JBCo!). I called myself In the dark because I generally have little idea which way shares will go. I can however, spot, untruths and Ponzi schemes quite well now!

Not everyone is as wise as you. Look back through my posts to see how I made a mistake buying this share.

I am not currently "invested" (we'll call it that) but as well as not buying Met1 shares I don't buy the argument that if you don't currently own shares you shouldn't comment on the company.

I might not have voted for the government but have a right to comment on its doings. And as for having an agenda. It is true that my agenda is and always has been the truth and trying to get at facts as far as possible.

If you actually own the shares you may have a bit of an agenda, wanting to promote the shares to either a) make more money or b) get the share back to the price you paid for it so you can sell it!

If this forum only had current Met1 shareholders on it there would be little debate

We are invested... In pointing out the underhand and misleading sales techniques being applied to Met1 shares. If you could stop someone vulnerable being parted from their savings in a shop would you do that? Or say 'it's not my investment being stolen I'll look the other way? "

value so it is whether you think the SP will increase based on their RNS announcements.

No income yet of course. They are still exploring.

If you have 4000 shares that coast you £100 then presumably you bought back in February when they cost about 2.5p each. If you had sold a few weeks ago at 54p you would have got £2,160 - a profit of £2,060.

If you sell now you'll have nearly £300 profit or a 300% return on your investment. Small beer but a massive return.

You have less than most to lose by holding as you only invested £100. I have no idea if the price will soar. Many think it will sink but maybe the companies licences will yield some assets worth someone mining and they can sell the rights on. DYOR

"A few shares". Hundreds and hundreds of millions. I keep looking at the buys - absolutely tiny purchases. That's why the share price has trickled down. The warrant holders chuck in a sale of a couple of million every now and then and the private investors like JBatch are buying 20,000. Some purchases are 200, 400, 48 I see. If you look at the small scale buys and sells in the last hour the few red sales equal many more blue buys.
