the feeling.is i think after 6 weeks they could have tested mou3 and mou4 flow rates, depending on the lead time from last rns for remaining equipment needed.

Personally find the delays/withholding of info frustrating also. Certainly as you say better comms would like see a run up to 20p or beyond as results were awaited. Perhaps allowing those who wished a chance to top slice and derisk but PG had been clear it is not his job to facilitate trading in the shares.

Hence, given above PG might have decided to release less info until critical results are available and decide current fate if the stock.

When I met with him, the view was bids would be received/expected mid July. There might then be some Q&A, finalising to be done on terms and percentages and timing of carry etc. So it would be more in to August I'd envisage before news.

The terms offered may not be to Gils liking and with the drill in the pipeline for 3B/4B and potential sale in a success case it may be they wait to hold more of Orinduik with a partnering deal next year, rather than minority carry this year.

The timing remains frustrating but would be good to know things are under way at least.

The first drill.will likely be a 400m barrel target so 80m barrels at $5 and the other 600m barrels plus cretaceous at $2-3 each. So more likely a couple billion if drilled successfully.

The pressure characteristics and thus production volumes relate to the entire reservoir. Equally if you think of a jug and a straw you can't just sip the right hand side 80% of the volume. The reservoir properties would operate similarly.
