I know from a Tweet since taken down there are several very credible bidders for Guyana including one of the TQP partners who relinquished due to challenges in the JV. That they are still in with their knowledge of the geology says a great deal.

The farm in for SA is definitive and with a partner who has local knowledge and success. I'd anticipate this giving them £1.50+ to sell out post a successful first drill if they strike oil.

The company could easily use this for Walvis and Guyana if minded to do so - should a partner not be on place by then.

A nominal deposit account would have paid 120k interest on the balance. Net that to G&A and initial Ph.1 I'd estimate there is still 5.5m cash.

Drill and Sandjet likely 3.0-3.5m

Yep posted under "Fortnight" on 21st May that the timing coalescing around 5th June. Now we are there it will hopefully demonstrate the activity that has been going on to be ready for test and drill in the coming weeks.

If Sound get it then they should be done by 15th June. The BoD should know expected date of receipt of rig.

On basis of that groundwork should be scheduled in a timely fashion.

If as alluded to the BoD has been waiting to SJ and drill simultaneously then that should also be scheduled to run contemporaneously.

If we get to end of June and no update or activity then I'd have to say it is highly questionable. I don't believe this will be the case but there is the issue of Amenemdnet No.5 or just entering into the new licence period next week.

Again bot entering in to new licence period or agreeing Amendmnent won't bode or reflect well.

Shareholders have been patient so June should finally be a time of action, activity and results

With the timings I think it may be Guyana (watch this age badly!!!). Bids were due I think end of June but may have been received early allowing an announcement to be made.

I wonder if they hope to sell SA if successful and use funds to drill Namibia

Think among management there are enough sticky shares to stop AOI getting a super majority to force holders to sell.

Was hoping to meet someone from Eco soon to get a sense of news but may already be leaking out. Understood deadlines were still some time away buy if bids have come in early or Total has started EIA for SA then game on.

I'd like to have picked up more by now but aim to keep accumulating.

With Chariot having finished with SV101 in next few days and Sound not needing it for long even of they get it next, seems like we are close to being under starters orders.

Imagine SP will begin to react as clock winds inexorably to the likely start date as even worst case now should be within 2-3 weeks.

Hopefully SJ equipment is ready to go and all will be underway together and look forward to reauk

Don't know about comparison to Apple but don't end up like Ron Gerald Wayne. Sold out of Apple a bit too early to benefit.

My views on timing are well hashed out and while I don't think PG manages the message on this optimally - this is likely partially to maintain good relations with OHNYM and other partners. Management have also probably taken the heat for aspects they may not control.

Of course I'd like progress to be quicker but if we enter into the licence extension on June 5th and there is a date for Sandjet and MOU-5 to occur concurrently soon after then all should be well.

I'm fortunate to have it pretty good overall so not in a rush, this will make a slight difference if it comes in on what holidays we choose but house and kids schools are well sorted and settled so marginal gains for us really but interesting to see outcome.

PG isn't diluted in the same way as a PI if awarding options to the tune of millions of shares.

No not the game that kids are obsessed with but 2 weeks today is 5th June and the original extension date of the Petroleum Agreement.

The BoD (hopefully) haven't been doing sweet fanny adam these last weeks so by the time of the amendment I'd expect an update is due. The proposed window for drilling MOU-5 will have passed and we will be several weeks from the Amendment 4 being ratified.

I'd say failure to provide an update by then would be something of a dereliction by the BoD, although I'm not sure that concerns them. PG I think feels this is his project and he can proceed how it pleases and we should all be grateful he is doing so.

Personally, I'd like them to get on and test, having proposed doing so was urgent last summer and admitted the missed testing window in Sept was his fault (although I wonder if he was covering for OHNYM and taking the heat) we need to crack on.

Chariot should also be done with drill by two weeks on Friday. As we aren't funded for a major drilling programme if MOU-5 is a success and we flow test successfully (along with SDX options later in the year for SV-101) I'd say grab the rig and go for it. The data will probably take quite some time to fully analyse in any case.

Fwiw I think they likely have been bust getting ducks in a row and the 4th amendment extends beyond 5th June.

This is China and Russia playing geo politics. They keep supplying Maduro with arms so he will sabre rattle and worry US for their oil interests locally.

Venezuela has enough oil deposits to keep the world going for years they are too stupid to monetise them.

15 years ago PDVSA could access borrowing from European Fin Instrututions. They wouldn't touch them with a barge pole now.

Even with weapons they're army is probably more useless than much of Russias.

The equipment is on site the services I'd dare say come with the rig to some extent and others will be procured along with the rig timing they arr working too even if it hasn't yet been shared.

You probably don't know any better than I whether Sound has it booked first or PRD (I know what Graham at Sound has said about it hopefully going to them after Chariot). One of the problems with opaque comms and dates slipping.

If we have the opportunity first I'd take it first.

Thanks I'd seen GRH tweet - we aren't funded for an endless drill programme. Hence probably better to get before Sound and option it after them giving BoD time to calrifynl route forward if drilling is a success.
